Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people agree that degree holders such as doctors and engineers, should work in same country where they did their practice, while others argue that they have freedom to choose to work in any other nation if they want.I strongly agree that working in any country they prefer is best option.
On the one hand, the major advantage of professionals working in any country can bring them a lot of exposture, better income somtimes rather fixing to one area. for instance, if a student went to study abroad and became a doctor and he came back to his own nation to work, where he can teach others the work he learned in other country and also learn new skills here which can some times can create a new strategy by mixing different skills which will only be possible when they are free to choose for them to work.
On the other hand, who oppose that working of professionals in others nations. For example, it may be good if they belong to same region, but if they are outsiders and just came to study it can create problems for them in future after finishing their degree, it can cause problems in language or communication some times at work which they are not very familiar with and also parting from families can create other major issuse for them.
In conclusion, working in same nation is perferred when the professionals originally belong their or they choose to train in the same country where they did their studies, however it is better for them to choose where they what to work, which can include better pay, more exposure and connectivity with families for better life balance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear preference in the introduction: “I strongly agree” that professionals should be free to choose where to work. The conclusion also recognises circumstances in which working in the training country may be preferable. However, the discussion does not fully explain the central issue of whether professionals owe service to the country that trained them. The first body paragraph focuses mainly on exposure and skills, and its example is difficult to follow; the second emphasises language and separation from family, which are personal challenges rather than reasons for requiring professionals to stay. Develop each side with clearer, relevant reasoning—for example, the impact of emigration on a country’s healthcare workforce, balanced against professionals’ career opportunities and rights.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two perspectives. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven. The first body paragraph moves from exposure and income to a doctor returning home, without clearly connecting that example to the argument for freedom to work abroad. The second paragraph’s opening is also unclear about which group it refers to, and several ideas are joined in a long sequence. Use topic sentences that state each side’s argument, then explain and illustrate one main point at a time. Clearer links between claims and examples would make the overall organisation more coherent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary, including “professionals,” “communication,” “skills,” and “better pay,” and you attempt more specific expressions such as “work-life balance.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning harder to follow. Examples include “a lot of exposture,” “fixing to one area,” and “connectivity with families.” Spelling errors such as “somtimes,” “perferred,” and “issuse” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of topic-specific phrases for migration, training, and employment, and check spelling and collocation during revision. More precise wording would help distinguish professional benefits from personal difficulties.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and relative structures, but control is inconsistent. The opening sentence has an unnecessary comma and is missing an article in “in same country”; “if they want.I strongly agree” also needs sentence separation and spacing. In the first body paragraph, “if a student went … and became … and he came back … where he can teach” shifts between past and present forms and creates an unclear sentence structure. Other examples include “who oppose” and “where they what to work,” which make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise accurate sentence boundaries, articles, subject–verb agreement, and consistent verb forms. Breaking long sentences into shorter units will help you express complex ideas more clearly.
