Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few members of the society have opinion that technical workers like doctors and engineers should be obligated to work in state where they have completed their education because state has invested in their training to produce technical workforce to run its economy. Other presents an opinion that they should have a choice to select their work location even outside the country if the want to because it is their right to seek better work environment and a well compensated job. I believe that they should be allowed to do a job anywhere around the globe if they choose to do so.
On one side, there is a reasonable number of community members who have opinion that technical professional are trained and educated by utilizing a lot of country's resources and infrastructure. Any country needs technical workforce to run its economy and it has limited resources to train a selected number of people in these professions. That is why they should be required to serve in the country and add value to country's economy as a payback to the training. Currently Japan is facing the shortage of technical worker as it industry is growing at faster rate than the capacity of universities of train engineers. The situation could be even worse if Japanese university graduates start immigrating to western countries as pay structure is much better there.
On the other side, a lot of persons believe that they should have freedom to seek employment abroad as it is their right to seek better working environment and well compensated job anywhere on the globe. There are several countries where compensation packages are much higher and better working environment and it is right of everyone to be there if they are capable of and if want to do so. For example average salary in the US is several times more than lot of African States.
In my opinion, there should be enough opportunities with best working environment and standardized compensation system comparable to international standards and then professional should be encouraged to work in the country by facilitating them but still, they should be free in making their choice.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and state a clear position: professionals should be free to choose where they work, while their home countries should improve conditions to retain them. The discussion of public investment and the Japanese engineering shortage supports the first view, and the comparison of US and African salaries illustrates the second. This covers the task well, but some reasoning is asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the salary comparison does not show how working abroad affects professionals’ choices or the countries they leave, and the final proposal about international-standard pay could be linked more explicitly to your argument. Develop these implications and add a more specific example to make the support more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. Signposting such as “On one side,” “On the other side,” and “In my opinion” makes the progression easy to follow. The ideas within each paragraph are generally relevant, and the conclusion returns to your position. However, the repeated “side” framing and repeated references to the right to seek better conditions make some cohesion feel mechanical. Connections between claims could also be clearer: after the US–Africa salary example, explain how it supports the freedom-to-migrate argument. Use a wider range of linking and referencing, and make the relationship between each example and its point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “technical workforce,” “infrastructure,” “compensation packages,” and “shortage,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “add value to the country’s economy.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “technical professional,” “a reasonable number of community members,” and “standardized compensation system comparable to international standards.” Repetition of “better” and “country” also limits flexibility. Aim for more precise, natural combinations and check singular/plural forms in vocabulary choices. For example, “skilled professionals” and “competitive pay” would express your ideas more idiomatically.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and conditional clauses such as “if they choose to do so.” The overall meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors recur and reduce accuracy. Examples include “if the want” instead of “if they want,” “as it industry is growing” instead of “as its industry is growing,” and “universities of train engineers” instead of “universities to train engineers.” There are also agreement and article problems in phrases such as “technical professional are trained” and “it is right of everyone.” Review subject–verb agreement, possessives, articles, and infinitive patterns. More careful editing of these forms would make your varied sentences more controlled.
