Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and state your preference for working abroad: “working in another country can very beneficial.” The response also gives relevant reasons, including familiarity with the local area and trust from residents on one side, and international connections and job opportunities on the other. However, the ideas are only partly developed. For example, the benefits of local trust are repeated across two paragraphs, while the reasons for working abroad are listed rather than explained with a specific example. Your opinion appears clearly near the end, but it would be stronger if you explained why those international benefits outweigh the advantages of staying where professionals trained. Develop each main point with a clear explanation or relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the overall arrangement coherent, and signposts such as “On the other hand” help readers follow the change in viewpoint. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening says the opinion will come “at the end,” and the conclusion largely repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Within paragraphs, several benefits are joined in long lists, such as “generate more income, getting more contacts for work and getting help easily,” so the relationship between ideas is not always clear. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then explain and support it before moving to the next idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-appropriate vocabulary, including “professionals,” “international professionals,” “opportunities,” and “exposure.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response awkward or less clear. Examples include “numerous connects” for professional contacts, “chance to providing survices,” and “build personality among the society.” There are also repeated general terms such as “good,” “many,” and “work,” which reduce precision. Aim to learn common word partnerships for this topic and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “career prospects” or “gain international experience” would help express your ideas naturally without relying on broad or repeated wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “because,” “which,” and “whereas.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction, sometimes making the reader pause. For example, “professionals should work … can easy and suitable” lacks a clear grammatical structure; “by working in a same country can built trust” has an incomplete subject and incorrect verb form; and “local can understands them” has an agreement error. Some sentences also combine several ideas without secure grammatical control. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb, and appropriate articles.
