Student answer (Band 5.5)

This is ongoing debated topic these days, that professionals souch as doctors and engineers should work in the country where they did their training. While, other argue that should be free to work other countries. In this essay I will discuss both views before presenting my own opinion

First and foremost, professionals such as doctors, engineers, and IT experts are very essential for a country progress. They play pivotal role in country development.

If these professionals start leaving the country where they acquire knowledge, it will be a considerable drawbeck for that country. Some people believe that it is their moral duty to severe their country, because nation has spend resources on their training. Therefore, these professional should payback the nation. Moreover, these professionals should work in their own country and share their experties and experience with students.

On the other hand, many people argue that they should allow to work in any other where they want to do. There are several factors that support this argument; in developing countries these professionals are facing financial challenges. Meanwhile, career opporytunites are lacking in developing countries. Furthermore, these professionals should allow to work other countries, in this way they can get experience and knowledge from developed countries. There is another important factors is that these professionals are the ambassdor of their country, if they achive milestone so it can become positive image of their own country, In addition, these professionals can share the expertise with their native country which they learn from other developed countries.

In conclsion, from my prespective I believe these professionals should allow to work in any other country, however these professional should share their expercience with native country and come back to their native country when nation need them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear opinion in the conclusion: professionals should be free to work abroad, while sharing their expertise or returning when their country needs them. The points about public investment in training, limited career opportunities, and gaining experience overseas are relevant. However, some ideas are more fully explained than others. For example, the claim that professionals have a moral duty to serve their country is stated but not supported with a specific example, and the idea of being “ambassadors” is not clearly connected to your main argument. Develop each key point with a brief explanation or example, and make the relationship between your reasons and your final position more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the discussion, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” make the main stages clear. Within paragraphs, however, connections can feel mechanical or unclear. The second body paragraph uses several transitions—“Furthermore,” “There is another important factors,” and “In addition”—without always showing how the ideas relate. The reference in “in this way they can get experience” is understandable but could be more precise. Group related reasons together, use fewer but more exact linking expressions, and ensure each paragraph develops one central line of reasoning.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “pivotal role,” “financial challenges,” “career opportunities,” and “expertise,” which helps you discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “moral duty” and “positive image.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the phrasing less natural: “drawbeck,” “experties,” “ambassdor,” and “achive” are examples. Some collocations also need refinement, such as “country progress” and “payback the nation.” Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships; more precise phrasing will make your arguments clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “If these professionals start leaving…” and “because nation has spend resources on their training.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main meaning is generally recoverable. However, errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “nation has spend” needs a correct participle, “they should allow to work” lacks the appropriate passive construction, and “There is another important factors” has a number-agreement problem. The opening sentence is also incomplete or awkwardly joined. Practise accurate clause patterns and review articles, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms; then proofread each sentence for a complete grammatical structure.
