Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many individuals think that persons who are doing the job of doctors and engineers, should have to work in their own country and help to devlop it and this is also their responsiblity because they practice here. However, many of individuals think that they free to work anywhere around the world because they achieve this position with their hardwork and dedication which is true in my thinking and i will discuss both the viewponts in the upcoming paragraph.

On the one hand, government spend a lot of money to train the doctors and engineers so people think that it is their responsibility to help in the devlopment of country. Government gave many schoolership to this students to fullfill their dream and become sucessfull in the life. Furthermore, there are also few of benefits, such as, if more doctors and engineers are available in the nation they help to improve the healthcare and infrastructure of country. For example, many nations are praised by the other nations for their better healthcare and infrastruture and many people visit this nations for the treatment of diseases and to see the arcitecture.

On the other hand, many students have ambition to get a professional job and work in other country to acheive a good lifestyle. I think they are free to job anywhere because they acheive this jobs with hardwork and if they get the good opportunities in the foreign nations simply they have to move their this will help them to acheive a good lifestyle. As well as their are no any rules who says, this people should have to job in their country.

In conclusion, people have to take the decision according to their wish and they are free to work anywhere where they find the good opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both positions and make your preference for professionals’ freedom to work abroad clear in the introduction and conclusion. The points about public investment in training and the benefits of having more doctors and engineers are relevant, as are the references to career ambitions and better opportunities overseas. However, several ideas remain general or are not fully explained. For instance, the claim that countries are praised for healthcare and infrastructure does not show how requiring graduates to stay would achieve this, and the opposing view is supported mainly by lifestyle and opportunity. Develop each side with a specific explanation or example, and state your position more precisely rather than relying on “which is true in my thinking.” This would make the response more complete and convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the discussion, and the ideas generally remain within their relevant paragraphs. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated use of “and” and “because,” while “Furthermore” and “As well as” do not always connect ideas smoothly. Some references are also unclear, such as “this students” and “this nations,” making it harder to identify the intended groups. Use a wider range of linking methods, make pronoun references precise, and ensure each paragraph develops its main point in a clear sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “doctors and engineers,” “healthcare,” “infrastructure,” “ambition,” and “opportunities.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “development of country” and “professional job.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “achieve,” “good,” and “country.” Spelling errors such as “devlop,” “responsiblity,” “schoolership,” and “infrastruture” are noticeable, and some combinations are unnatural, including “free to job” and “move their.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause. Build a more precise range of collocations and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often not controlled accurately. For example, “many of individuals think that they free to work” is missing an article and a verb, while “Government spend” and “Government gave” do not maintain correct subject–verb agreement and tense. There are also errors in sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as the comma after “engineers” in the opening sentence and the run-on construction beginning “if they get the good opportunities.” Practise accurate clause construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation before adding further complexity.
