Student answer (Band 5.5)

Professionals such as doctors and engineers play a vital role in the development of the country. As they asist to meet the daily needs of common people. For example doctors help to cure devastating diseases which may let to death if ignored. And engineers build structures which help to make ease for mankind such as bridges, building, trains and soo on.

As it is seen that these professionals play a signifiant role in the progress of a country or nation. So to make them stay in their country from which they get training is not an harmful decision. For example the third world countries like Pakistan ,Nepal ,Srilanka and others require capable doctors, enginers and law makers to take their nation from undevelopment to the sky of success and progress. And the good researcher's in these fields will open the door to innovation and interesting discoveries.

As these professionals complete their degrees not only to serve the humanity but also to make the financial condition of their families better. European countries such as England, Germany and France give much more better salaries and facilities than eastern countries.Third world countries offer almost 30% less pay than developed and advance countries like USA and China.

At last we belive that it will be the decision of the professional to choose wheater to stay in the country where they did their training or to leave it for better career oppurtunity. The doctor or engineer should show some degree of responsibility to make this decision. As the fate of their family and nation depend on it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You introduce the issue and give a clear final preference: professionals should decide whether to stay or leave, while considering their families and nation. You also explain why countries need trained professionals and why overseas work can be financially attractive. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the case for requiring professionals to work where they trained is not fully explained as a policy argument; the benefits of freedom to move are also mostly reduced to higher salaries. Examples such as Pakistan and Nepal are relevant but broad, and the conclusion does not resolve the tension between personal choice and national need. Develop each side with specific reasons and support before stating your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from the importance of professionals to the case for retaining them, then to financial incentives abroad and a concluding opinion. Paragraphing helps separate these points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the opening begins with a sentence fragment, and several sentences start with “And” or “So,” making the links feel mechanical. The relationship between the claim that professionals should stay and the later claim that they should choose freely is not clearly reconciled. Use topic sentences to signal each side of the debate, and connect examples directly to the point they support. More precise referencing and fewer repeated linkers would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “development,” “innovation,” “financial condition,” and “career opportunity,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, such as “asist,” “signifiant,” “enginers,” “wheater,” and “oppurtunity.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “make ease for mankind,” “the sky of success,” and “much more better salaries.” These choices can make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a more accurate set of collocations for discussing migration, public services, and employment, and check spelling carefully. Prefer clear, natural phrasing over ambitious expressions that do not fit the context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and use clauses to explain consequences, for example, “the fate of their family and nation depend on it.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. “As they asist to meet the daily needs of common people” is a fragment, while “For example doctors help…” is not properly joined to the preceding idea. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence construction, as in “not an harmful decision” and “the fate … depend.” Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly around sentence openings and examples. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine ideas using accurate subordinate clauses and conjunctions.
