Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often to argued that professionals like doctors and engineers able to required to employment in the state where they did their training and some believe they should be free to work in outside country as their wish. This essay will discuss both these points of view and argue in favour of the latter.

On the one hand, doctors and engineers need to represent their own country because they learn their basics and foundations. They can build their career in own country and it is a great service for the country. Doctors can work in government hospitals and earn a good salary and as well as they can provide their service through their private dispensary and earn much more. Engineers can employment in projects because there are lot of projects in present and state sectors searching for them and that was the huge opportunity to build their career. For example, improvement of the modern technology engineers can plan their project easily and they can provide a huge service to their country without wasting time.

On the other hand, both doctors and engineers need to free to work in different countries because they can engage with better opportunities and build their career. They can see the difference between country to country and how the technology is engage with them. For instances, doctors and engineers can earn higher salary and be able to experienced the exposure and culture in another country.

In my opinion, I completely agree with the statement. Therefore, doctors and engineers must need to able their own country to represent and provide a good service, moreover they should have to get better opportunities in another country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state a preference for allowing professionals to work abroad, so the response is relevant to the question. The first body paragraph gives reasons to stay, including serving the country and working in public or private healthcare, while the second mentions better opportunities, salary, and cultural exposure overseas. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a clear, specific example. Your position is also inconsistent: you favour freedom to work abroad in the introduction, but the conclusion says professionals “must need to able their own country” as well as seek opportunities elsewhere. Clarify your final position and develop each side with a fuller explanation or relevant example to address the task more completely. The response meets the stated length requirement; eight words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint, and the reader can generally follow the main ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear because several points are placed together without showing how they connect. For example, the first body paragraph moves from national service to doctors’ earnings and then to engineering projects, while “For example” introduces a point that does not clearly illustrate the preceding claim. The conclusion also combines opposing positions. Use clearer links between claim, explanation, and example, and make references and transitions more precise rather than relying mainly on formulaic signposting.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “professionals,” “government hospitals,” “salary,” “opportunities,” and “technology,” which helps communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “free to work in outside country,” “provide their service through their private dispensary,” and “technology is engage with them.” There is also repetition of “career,” “country,” and “service,” and some phrases are imprecise, such as “huge opportunity.” Aim to learn natural word partnerships for employment and professional mobility, and choose precise terms rather than translating expressions directly. This would make your ideas clearer and more flexible.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences with “because” and “and,” and the overall meaning is sometimes recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. The opening, “It is often to argued that professionals … able to required,” contains several problems with verb forms and sentence construction. Other examples include “they learn their basics,” “there are lot of projects,” and “doctors and engineers need to free to work,” where articles, auxiliaries, or verb forms are missing or incorrect. These errors recur and can make the reader pause to work out the meaning. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then extend them with one subordinate clause at a time; check subject–verb structure, articles, and verb forms when proofreading.
