Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argued that professionals such as doctors and engineers, should be neccesary to work in the country where they did their training. However, other claim that they should be free to work in any nation if they wish. This is essay will examine the both viewpoints before presenting my personal view.
on the one side, why professionals should work in the country where they trained. One of the primary reason is to address the shortage of doctors and engineers. To explain, These days experienced medical staff migrate to other countries in search of better career options, leaving their home countries. These professionals are required to work in their country where they are trained. In their country, they can help to improve the standard of health and the quality of the medical services . For example, doctors working in local hospitals can provide medical care to a greater number of patients at a one time, which would not be true public health, but also enhancing the technology development.
On the flip side, why professionals should be free to work abroad. To illustrate, Foreign countries often offer higher salaries and better career prospects, allowing professionals to improve their living standards and develop their expertise. Furthermore, working overseas enables them to gain exposure to advanced technology and modern facilities. For example, doctors employed in well-equipped foreign hospitals can learn about innovative treatments and advanced medical equipment, which may enhance their professional skills. Therefore, working abroad can benefit individuals by providing valuable experience and greater opportunities for career advancement.
In my opinion, i firmly beleive that individuals have the right where they want to work and persue their career for their personal and professional support.
In conclusion, athough requriring professionals to work in their countries address shortage of doctors and engineers, improve public health, they should ultimately be free to pursue career opportunities abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both required views and state a clear preference in the final paragraph: professionals should be free to choose where they work. The points about addressing staff shortages and gaining better salaries, facilities, and expertise are relevant. However, the first view is less clearly developed: the explanation repeats that professionals should work where they trained, and the example about treating more patients does not fully explain how this would address shortages or improve services. The sentence beginning “which would not be true public health” is also unclear, weakening the support. Develop each side with a more precise cause-and-effect explanation and a specific example. The response meets the stated length requirement; 19 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each viewpoint, your opinion, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “However,” “On the flip side,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the overall direction. Some cohesion is mechanical, though, because paragraphs repeatedly begin by announcing the side being discussed rather than linking ideas more naturally. There are also unclear connections within sentences, especially “which would not be true public health,” and the opinion paragraph is very brief and does not connect its claim to the preceding discussion. Use clearer referencing and explain how each example supports the point; this would make the progression smoother and less dependent on signposting phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “shortage,” “career prospects,” “living standards,” “advanced technology,” and “career advancement.” This gives you enough range to discuss the main ideas, but several inaccurate or awkward choices reduce precision. For example, “should be necessary to work” does not express the intended obligation naturally, while “personal and professional support” is unclear in context. Spelling errors such as “neccesary,” “beleive,” “persue,” “although,” and “requriring” are noticeable. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; more precise wording would help your ideas come across without requiring the reader to infer your meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a subordinate clause in “allowing professionals to improve their living standards” and a relative clause in “doctors employed in well-equipped foreign hospitals.” However, the range is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Examples include “other claim” instead of a plural verb, “This is essay” instead of a correctly formed noun phrase, and “individuals have the right where they want to work,” which lacks the grammatical structure needed to express choice. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in the opening of the first body paragraph. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause construction, then proofread each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
