Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is believe by some people that professionals such as doctors and engineers should work in the country where they did training, while others think that it is not necessary and they can work anywhere they want. In my opinion, doctors and engineers should allowed to work in their desired country.

Professionals like doctors and engineers may need higher education or training in their own fields. So many people choose other countries which may have better facilities for training. At the end they may have a dream to return on their own country and server their own people. For that reason they may need that freedom to work anywhere in the world. Another reason can be every country in the world may need good doctors and engineers so they can be hire people from this professionals for their own country's betterment.

However, the scenario can be different too. People may train in their own country. After that without serving own country and their people they can work in other countries for better facilities. This can have a great impact on those underdeveloped countries. Common people from under developed countries may not get same services from doctors and engineers like the developed countries.

In my view, everyone who is doctors and engineers can first think about their own country and people. At first they can serve them then can move to their desired place for their better future.

In conclusion everyone should have a freedom to choose their desired work places. Professionals like doctors and engineers cannot be different while they can think and serve their motherland before working in other countries if they wish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and give a clear personal position: professionals should be free to choose where they work, while ideally serving their home country first. The discussion of freedom includes reasons such as access to better training and countries’ need for skilled workers; the opposing view also identifies the possible harm to underdeveloped countries. These points are relevant, but some are less fully explained. For example, the claim that professionals can be hired for a country’s “betterment” is broad, and the final suggestion that they serve at home before moving is not reconciled fully with your support for freedom of choice. Develop each view with a specific example and clarify how your opinion balances individual choice with national needs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph supporting freedom of movement, a contrasting paragraph about the effects on poorer countries, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “However,” “For that reason,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. At times, though, connections between ideas are mechanical or unclear. The shift from professionals training abroad to returning home is not fully explained, and the conclusion’s recommendation to serve the home country first sits somewhat awkwardly beside the earlier claim that they should work wherever they wish. Use clearer references and transitions to show how each point supports your position, and make the relationship between the two sides explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “professionals,” “training,” “facilities,” “underdeveloped countries,” and “services.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural or imprecise. For instance, “server their own people” appears to mean “serve their own people,” while “work in their desired country” and “better facilities” are repeated or broad. There are also spelling and word-form problems, such as “hire people from this professionals” and “under developed.” Build a more precise range for discussing migration and public services, and check spelling, word forms, and natural combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. Examples include “It is believe” instead of “It is believed,” “should allowed” instead of “should be allowed,” and “everyone who is doctors” instead of “everyone who is a doctor.” The sentence beginning “Another reason can be every country” also needs a clearer grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the main argument can be followed. Practise accurate passive forms, subject–verb agreement, and article use, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly formed clause.
