Student answer (Band 5.0)

Staying and leavin the country for the professionals become a subject that people nowdays are arguing abou, some say they should work in the county where they get the formation, while others say that it is their choice to choose wher to work.My thought went with the second category.

After a long cursus in studying, the gouvernement opens it doors to require the new graduated students, where they should stay in the place that get formed in to serve the county to increase it economy. If they have the freedom to leave the country without woorking there, who is going to replace the elder who lead the companies?. As a result for that, the creativity would decrease by years for not having a new required with they choose to leave the county.

In the other hand, poeple belive that the graduated student should have the ability to choose if they stay at the county where they did their training or leave, having a new experiece abroad it would be counted as an experiences, it is good to try another environement to see how different companies do their work. By the end it affect on the person's thinking, seeing a new vision of living and having a career on different way, if that contry for example use another language than its, he would be able to speak it.

In conclusion, my honest opinion about choosing to leav or stay at the country for working where the person get train, is having the freedom to choose between theme, because in this case it comes to the preference of the person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both positions and state your preference for professionals to choose where they work, so the response addresses the main parts of the prompt. However, the position is only briefly explained, and the supporting ideas remain limited. For example, the argument for requiring graduates to stay focuses on replacing older workers and maintaining creativity, but the link between these points and compulsory service is not fully developed. The benefits of working abroad—gaining experience, seeing different approaches, and learning a language—are relevant, but they are listed rather than supported with a specific example. Develop each side with clearer reasoning and explain why your preferred policy is fair or beneficial.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad discussion, and phrases such as “As a result” and “In conclusion” signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links are mechanical or imprecise. For instance, the question about replacing older company leaders is followed by a claim about creativity decreasing, without a clear explanation connecting them. The second body paragraph also moves quickly from overseas experience to language learning. Use clearer topic sentences and develop one point at a time, with explicit links showing how each example supports the paragraph’s main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “freedom,” “creativity,” “environment,” and “career,” and you convey the general contrast between staying and leaving. However, the range is limited and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “formation” for professional training, “cursus,” “county” where you mean country, and “experiences” where the singular form is needed in context. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “having a new vision of living.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional reasoning in “If they have the freedom to leave…” and a relative clause in “the elder who lead the companies.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation, sometimes making relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “the gouvernement opens it doors to require the new graduated students, where they should stay” has unclear clause structure and agreement, while “it affect on the person's thinking” has an incorrect verb pattern. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
