Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is a critical bebate about professionals such as doctors and engineers that wheather they should work in their own country or go abroad. Some individuals believe that they should be required to work in their own country from where they completed education and training, while others argue that they should be free to work in another country if they wish. In my opinion, doctors and engineers should required to work in thier home country.
On the one hand, those who believe that professionals should be work in their home country argue that doctors and engineers are an important asset of the country. In addition, they believe that, they should serve to country from where they get education and did their training. On the other hand, they can contribute to strengthen the economy of the country, engineers can aslo contribute in the development of the country.
On the other hand, some people believe that professionals should be free to go abroad and work for international organizarions. some people believe that thay may get better career opportunities and high salary in another country as compare to home country. Furthermore, they may have opportunities to explore different cultures, test different life styles, learn other languages, develop their communication skills as well as technical skills.
In conclusion, although working for another country can be worhwhile such as better career opportunities, high salary and an opportunity to explore different cultures, develop necessary technical skills, working in home country provide numerous benefits such as helps in strengthen the economy, contribute in th edevelopment of the country. I believe that professionals should be required to work in their own country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and state a consistent view: professionals should work in their home country. The reasons you give are relevant, including serving the country that provided training, supporting its economy and development, and gaining better salaries or career opportunities abroad. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or illustrated. For example, you say engineers can contribute to national development but do not explain how or provide a specific example. The discussion of working abroad also lists benefits without considering their significance or developing them. As a result, the response addresses the main parts of the task, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. To strengthen it, explain the consequences of each view and support at least one point with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your opinion. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several claims are placed next to one another without showing how one leads to the next. The repeated “On the other hand” at the start of the second body paragraph is also confusing because it follows a paragraph that already uses that phrase to introduce a contrasting point. Some connections, such as the shift from serving the country to strengthening its economy, need clearer explanation. Use more precise transitions and develop each paragraph around a clear sequence of reason and consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “career opportunities,” “technical skills,” “economy,” and “development.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or repetitive, which makes parts of the response less clear. Examples include “serve to country,” “as compare to home country,” and “explore different cultures, test different life styles.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “bebate,” “wheather,” “organizarions,” and “thier.” These issues fit a response with a minimally adequate but not consistently controlled vocabulary. Build accuracy by learning common collocations for work, training, and national contribution, and proofread spelling. More precise wording would also help you explain ideas without relying on repeated general terms such as “country” and “opportunities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast in the introduction and a longer concluding sentence. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “doctors and engineers should required to work” is missing “be,” while “professionals should be work” uses an incorrect verb form. In “they should serve to country,” the article and preposition pattern is faulty; “engineers can also contribute in the development” also has an incorrect preposition. The final sentence contains several clauses joined together, making its structure difficult to follow. Practise accurate passive forms, verb patterns, articles, and prepositions, then divide long sentences into clearer units. Greater control of these basic structures is needed before attempting more elaborate sentences.
