Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is ongoing argument on weather professional persons such as doctors and engineers have to work in the country from where they are graduated, while some think that they are free to work wherever they want. This essay will be discussed both the views before giving my opinion in the following paragraphs.
The views put forwards for those who agree with the former point is that it is beneficial for experts and country as well. The knowledge gained during their academic helps into the cure of illness of country citizens' leads to the individuals maintain their physical and mental well-being. As a result, people are able to work more efficiently and improve their living lifestyle and also improve nation overall growth. Furthermore, developing countries often safe shortage of qualified doctors and engineers in the rural areas. If they live outside the country after graduation, in rural areas have a lack of such kind of facilities and may leads to the serious health problems.
On the other hand, there are several reasons for those who think they can free to work as they want. The first reason is that they find opportunities for their own growth. For example, engineers who work in the country from they graduated do not have financial stability; however, those who work outside the country have more financial stable and having a greater ability of decision-making process because they live in unfamiliar environment and need to keep in mind for smaller thinks. Moreover, they can learn some new technologies and methods which may not be taught during their academics helps to increase their knowledge.
Overall, work in same country after study has benefits to country and rural areas. However, in my opinion people have to choose to work in other countries because it opens many opportunities for personal growth as well as the increase in the knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the discussion and state a clear preference in the conclusion: professionals should be able to work abroad because of the opportunities for personal growth and learning. The points about national benefit, rural shortages, financial prospects and exposure to new technologies are relevant. However, the first view is developed more fully than the case for freedom to work elsewhere, and some explanations are unclear—for example, the link between working in an unfamiliar environment and improved decision-making is asserted rather than demonstrated. The conclusion also repeats the position without weighing the two arguments in much detail. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason with a clearer cause-and-effect link or a specific example, and make your comparison of the two views more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. The progression from the benefits to the country to the benefits for professionals is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “Overall” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectations for coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. However, several links within sentences are difficult to follow, particularly “The knowledge gained during their academic helps into the cure…” and “If they live outside the country after graduation, in rural areas…”. Some transitions also feel formulaic. Use clearer topic sentences and ensure each pronoun and connecting phrase refers unambiguously to the idea before it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “qualified doctors and engineers,” “financial stability,” “rural areas” and “personal growth.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “weather” for “whether,” “views put forwards,” “safe shortage,” “financial stable,” and “smaller thinks.” Some phrases, such as “improve their living lifestyle,” are also unnatural or repetitive. These noticeable errors fit a limited but minimally adequate range: the reader can usually identify your meaning, but sometimes has to interpret it. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms, rather than relying on direct translations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If they live outside the country after graduation…” and a contrast using “however.” Nevertheless, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms can make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “The views put forwards for those who agree… is” has a mismatch between subject and verb, while “they can free to work” is missing a required verb form. The sentence beginning “The knowledge gained during their academic…” also lacks a clear grammatical structure. These recurring problems limit accuracy and control. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas using correctly formed clauses and check subject–verb agreement.
