Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some mankind believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to give their services in the country from where they did their initial training, While others have different view as they believe that everyone has their free right to choose their country where they would like to work.

On the one side, many have the opinion that professionals, such as doctors and engineers can play essential role for their own country. Because they are the one who give important services to the country. Firstly, medical advices by doctors which is really helpful for the citizens as everybody need it. In addition to that engineers are the one who develop different infrastructures or technologies. These are the pillars of any country as they give play significant role in the development of country.Secondly, government spend a handsome amount of money to give good training to them so that they can understand every topic practically. Thirdly, their services are sensitive therefore government wants these professionals to get their hands on, on the equipments they would use during their work. Lastly, wheather doctors or engineers, they have rights and knowledge to manufacture or research some devices or instruments or do some new findings which can help country economically. For example, if doctors find a medicine for the illness like cancer. every other country in the world praise the doctors and the country they do their service in as a result country get financial benefits.

On the other side, many believe that every individual have their own independent decisions and nobody should stop them. If they wish to stay abroad because they want to gain more opportunities or want to earn more. They have full right to choose their future and it doesn't matter wheather they took the training from the same country as they want to live and give their service.

In conclusion, I have that opinion that there are real benefits for the country to have talented docters and engineers work in their society after took training from their institues. However, the independence of their is also much needed as they might be not comfortable or happy to live in the same country as they took their training from. they might took that decision because the country is more affordable than other countries. Finally, after comparing the both sides i believe that it is really important for every individual to decide where they want to live in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You discuss both views and give a clear final preference for professionals to choose where they live and work. The case for requiring them to serve the country that trained them is supported with relevant points about public services, government investment and possible economic benefits. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others: for example, the claim that professionals should gain practical experience on particular equipment is not clearly connected to requiring them to remain in the country. The freedom-of-choice argument is relevant but brief, and would benefit from a specific example or fuller explanation of why working abroad may be important. Develop both sides more evenly and state your position more directly in the introduction. The response meets the task’s length requirement; 12 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one side,” “On the other side,” and “In conclusion” makes the main stages easy to follow, and the first viewpoint is presented in a generally logical sequence. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some features of stronger progression. However, the first body paragraph contains several points in a list-like sequence (“Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Thirdly,” “Lastly”), and some links between claims are unclear. For instance, the discussion of equipment and later research findings does not flow smoothly into the cancer example. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each supporting example explicitly to the point it illustrates.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “essential role,” “infrastructures,” “opportunities,” and “financial benefits.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “government spend a handsome amount,” although the expression is not natural in this context. Overall, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make the writing less precise: “medical advices,” “give their services,” “wheather,” and “do some new findings” are examples. Some phrases also repeat, particularly “country” and “professionals.” Build a more accurate set of collocations for public services, training and migration, and check spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would make your arguments clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if doctors find a medicine” and clauses introduced by “as” and “because.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences. Examples include “many have the opinion that professionals … can play essential role,” “everybody need it,” and “government spend,” where articles or subject–verb agreement are missing. The conclusion also contains faulty verb forms in “after took training” and “they might took that decision.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention too: “country.Secondly” runs together, and “cancer. every” begins a new sentence incorrectly. Practise accurate agreement, articles and past-tense forms, then proofread long sentences for boundaries.
