Student answer (Band 5.0)
Professionals like doctors and engineers are an integral part in the development of an economy. I largely agree to the fact that they should have the freedom to explore the world and gain more knowledge and hence lead to the development of the economy.
It could be argued that, medical and technical professionals should practice in the place were they gained their qualification because they know the society very well. It makes them more comfortable to work in a known environment than to work in an unknown country. Also, they can stay with their family and friends, especially, with their parents as they age. It makes one feel more stress free and comfortable when they are with their loved ones.
On the other hand, I still believe that once the professional complete there basic education in their country, they should be given opportunities to study or work abroad. This provides them opportunity to explore new culture, study new techniques. Espescially, in healthcare, it gives them wast knowledge in using new technologies, advanced healthcare system. Also, leads way to new research.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear preference for professionals to have the freedom to work abroad, and you briefly explain the opposing view through familiarity with local society and the comfort of staying near family. However, the response addresses the task only partially: the benefits of working abroad are mentioned, but neither side is developed with specific reasoning or examples, and the essay ends abruptly at “In conc,” without a conclusion or a complete statement of your opinion. The response is also below the required 250 words, which limits the opportunity to explain and support your ideas. To strengthen the response, complete both sides of the discussion, add a relevant example, and finish with a clear concluding position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting reasons to remain in the training country, and one supporting work abroad. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint. However, progression is limited because each paragraph contains only a few briefly stated points, and the final fragment, “In conc,” leaves the essay without a coherent ending. Some connections between ideas are also abrupt, particularly “Also, leads way to new research,” which does not clearly link to the preceding sentence. Develop each main point in a fuller sequence—claim, explanation, and example—and use a complete concluding paragraph to make the overall progression clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “integral part,” “qualification,” “new culture,” and “advanced healthcare system.” These choices show an attempt to discuss professional training and international work, but the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, which keeps the message from being consistently precise. For example, “wast knowledge” appears to mean “vast knowledge,” while “explore the world” is broad for the specific idea of gaining professional experience abroad. “Practice in the place” and “leads way to new research” are also unnatural collocations. Aim for more precise topic language, such as “practise in the country where they qualified,” “gain international experience,” and “contribute to research,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause in “because they know the society very well” and a comparison between a known and unknown environment. Meaning is generally understandable, but errors in sentence structure and verb forms occur often enough to reduce control. For example, “once the professional complete” needs subject–verb agreement, and “they should be given opportunities to study or work abroad” shifts awkwardly from the singular “professional” to “they.” The sentence “Also, leads way to new research” is incomplete because it lacks a clear subject and verb structure. Practise checking agreement and ensuring every sentence has a complete clause; then vary sentence patterns while keeping them accurate.
