Student answer (Band 6.0)

The doctors and engineers are considered as the most respectable and essential people of a society. The countries all over the world offer plum opportunities to attract the experts in both professions. This will eventually result in the progress of both the person and country. There are contradictory view of people in this regard, some believe that doctor and engineers should serve the country from where they got training. Others argue that they should be allowed to work freely in several countries. I endrose the idea of availing opportunities as per will.

The health care is a profession in which a specialist serves the people regardless of their race and religion same applies to the engineering. A part from that, both these degrees require the students to burn mid night oil to achieve success. Therefore, the doctors and engineers should be allowed to aquire the best employment around the world in order to enjoy the outcome of their struggle. Moreover, the countries which face natural disasters like earthquake, flood and femine etc. become deprive of the expert health care and engineering. It is necessary for the professionals to serve the people suffering from catastrophic conditions. Doctors and engineers working with NGOs to help starving people in underdeveloped regions of Africa are epitome of this sencario.

On the contrary, some people emphasize the country that provided the chances for medical and professional training deserves the services of the trained professionalists. The country invests a handsome share of its annual budget into the professional education and students are offered with fully funded scholarships. These facilities are provided to produce and retain the skilled people who will contribute to the betterment of the country. Hence, the doctors and engineers must priortize the country that assisted them in learning.

In conclusion, there are mainly two intentions behind a person's professional choice, first is to earn sufficient salary and other is to server the humanity. In my opinion, if a professional engineer and doctor is not permitted to work as per desire then both the aforementioned intension would be impossible to achieve.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You discuss both positions and make your own view clear in the introduction and conclusion: you support professionals being free to choose where they work. The argument for mobility is relevant, particularly the point that specialists can help communities affected by disasters, while the opposing view is explained through public investment and scholarships. This covers the task, but the two sides are not developed equally. The disaster example is broad, and the claim that professionals should serve people regardless of background does not fully explain why they should be free to work abroad. The conclusion also introduces earning a salary and serving humanity without connecting these motives closely to the earlier arguments. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting freedom of choice, a paragraph presenting the opposing view, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “On the contrary,” and “Hence” help signal the direction of the argument. However, some connections feel mechanical or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. For example, “Therefore” introduces the right to seek employment after a point about the effort required to earn a degree, but the reasoning needs an explicit link. The opening paragraph also combines several ideas before stating the two views. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; ensure references such as “both the aforementioned intention” point clearly to the ideas discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary and attempt less common expressions, including “plum opportunities,” “catastrophic conditions,” “underdeveloped regions,” and “betterment.” These choices show ambition, and the main meaning is generally understandable. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “plum opportunities” in this context, “deprive of the expert health care,” and “professionalists.” There are also spelling errors, including “endrose,” “aquire,” “femine,” and “sencario.” These do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and control. Prefer familiar, accurate academic phrasing over ornate expressions, and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, “professionals” is the natural term for trained doctors and engineers.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including relative clauses (“the country that provided the chances…”) and conditional structures (“if a professional engineer and doctor is not permitted…”). Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include “There are contradictory view of people,” where the noun should agree in number, and “the country invests… and students are offered,” where the relationship between the clauses needs clearer punctuation or restructuring. In “a professional engineer and doctor is not permitted,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the final sentence has an unclear grammatical construction around “both the aforementioned intension would be impossible.” Work on agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, while keeping the complex structures you are attempting.
