Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is commonly believe that few professionals like doctors and engineers should reside and execute their duties in the country where they were trained while few people believe that these professionals should not be limited by borders. In my opinion, doctors and engineers should contribute to the society where their skills are polished not in other countries unless it is an emergency.
It's crucial to work at a place or country where the state has given its enough resources to polish a mind for the future. Observing how the deficiency of skilled doctors and engineers can disrupt the healthcare system and infrastructure people can see this absence in the form of bumpy roads, cracked walls, poor sewage system, poor disease diagnosis and prognosis, low-level treatments in hospitals. All of this is not possible if doctors and engineers would spend their skills for making their people lives better.
On the other hand, if the government is giving financial constraints to these professions or their salaries are not upto the mark, it provides strong reasons to move out. Few governments are not providing enough facilites like transport, house etc which makes these people attractive towards other better opportunities. Apart from this, people will always choose a place which has professional working environment, higher chances of promotion and zero bribery over a position chosen on patriotism. Besides, in state of war or emergency there should be no boudaries about where should someone is working.
Overall, this essay summarises that people observe how absence of skilled doctors and engineers can create pitfalls in a system especially if the system gives them training. On the other hand, people belive that choosing another country for their work is their professional right and helps them grab better opportunies and move forward in life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You present a clear overall view: trained professionals should contribute to the country that supported their education, with an exception for emergencies. You also discuss reasons for working abroad, including inadequate salaries, facilities, promotion prospects and corruption, so both sides of the prompt are addressed. However, the first view receives more emphasis, while the case for freedom to move is listed rather than fully explored. The examples of damaged roads and poor healthcare illustrate the consequences of shortages, but do not explain why professionals should be required to stay or how their contribution could be ensured. Develop each side with a specific example and clarify your position on whether this should be a requirement or an expectation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding paragraph. Transitions such as “On the other hand,” “Apart from this,” and “Overall” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. The long list beginning “bumpy roads, cracked walls” combines several consequences without showing how they connect to the argument, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Some linking phrases also introduce ideas abruptly, particularly the emergency exception. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it, and then give a relevant example; use clearer references when moving between professionals, governments and countries.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “skilled,” “infrastructure,” “professional working environment,” and “promotion,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited by repeated general wording such as “people,” “country,” and “work,” while several inaccurate word choices or collocations make ideas less natural. For example, “polish a mind” does not clearly express professional training, and “financial constraints to these professions” is not an appropriate way to describe low pay or limited funding. There are also spelling errors, including “facilites,” “boudaries,” and “opportunies.” Build a more precise vocabulary for training, public investment, migration and working conditions, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if the government is giving financial constraints…” and a concession about emergencies. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to read. Examples include “It is commonly believe” instead of a correctly formed passive, “the state has given its enough resources,” and “where should someone is working.” Agreement and verb forms also need attention in “if doctors and engineers would spend their skills,” while several sentences lack clear grammatical connections between clauses. Practise accurate passive forms, conditionals, question word order in indirect clauses, and article and agreement patterns. Shorter, carefully checked sentences would improve clarity while you build control of longer structures.
