Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, people show concern about specific field and professions, some of them think that doctors and engineers should work in their own country, while other argue that they all are free to go and work anywhere they want to do.I strongly believe, that all professions should be allowed to work free in other countries if they are interested.
However, some people thinks that doctors and engineers should be strictely not allowed to work in any other countries and they only allowed to serve their own people where they studied or did their practice.Due to lack of better healthcare departments and shortage of medical staff the government should spend significant amount of money on universties, medical colleges, hospitals and other healthcare institutes.
Furthermore, devolping countries such as Pakistan needs more doctors and engineers for the devolepment of country,if these two departments contributes their services to country their will be huge increase in economy and progress of country. Moreover, pakistan needs more doctors and engineers to serve their local community due to shortage of these facilities in rural areas.Anyhow, its a public responsibilty of all professionals to contribute in the progress of their own country because they recieved educational opportunities their. For instance,if many doctors leave pakistan to Uk,rural areas may face the shortage of healthcare workers.
Ontheother hand,i agree with second statement because professionals should have the freedom to choose their workplace, because every individual has the right to take decision where he wants to live or work.In addition, many other countries offer attractive salaries, which are much more higher than own country, also they provide better working conditions and advanced technology, so they easily attracted and convienced.
Beside this, working abroad helps professionals to gain international experience with advanced medical equipments and international healthcare practices.
Although, some people believe that doctors and engineers should serve the country where they recieved the education.I believe that these professionals should have r

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views and state a clear preference for professionals to be free to work abroad. The case for requiring them to serve their home country is supported with relevant points about public investment, shortages in rural areas, and the possible effect of doctors leaving Pakistan. You also explain that overseas work can offer better pay, conditions, technology, and experience. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits to the home country are developed more fully than the reasons professionals should have freedom, and the final sentence is cut off, leaving your conclusion incomplete. Develop both sides to a similar depth and finish by clearly restating your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure: it introduces the debate, presents the case for serving the home country, then turns to freedom of choice. Linking phrases such as “Furthermore,” “On the other hand,” and “Although” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is weakened by long, crowded paragraphs and repeated points about shortages and national development. Some links are mechanical or do not clearly connect the ideas, and the final sentence breaks off, disrupting the ending. Use one focused paragraph for each view, group related reasons together, and add a complete concluding paragraph. Clearer sentence boundaries and more precise referencing would also make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “shortage of medical staff,” “working conditions,” “advanced technology,” and “international experience,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice or spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural, such as “strictely,” “devolepment,” “convienced,” and “medical equipments.” Some phrases are also awkward, including “specific field and professions” and “they easily attracted.” Aim for accurate collocations and word forms, and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “retain skilled professionals” or “career opportunities abroad” would help express the argument more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “Due to lack of better healthcare departments” and a conditional example about doctors leaving Pakistan. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “some people thinks” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “their will be huge increase” contains an incorrect pronoun and missing article. Several sentences run together, and the final clause is incomplete. Practise building accurate complex sentences, check agreement and articles, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
