Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is argued that professionals like doctors and engineers should be working in the same country where they did their training while others believe that they should be able to work freely where ever they want. I belive that they should be free to work in whatever country they wish to work.
Professions like doctors and engineers which play cruicial role in the development of a country. Even though a country with limited education or a country with a bad reputation can affect the education of said countries professions. Also people think it can be more ethical for them to work in that specific country from where they have trained from, it should not stop them from working from where they feel they will be able to easily work from. What if they want to work on a specific subject which is not possible from where they are from. In such case we should not force them to work from a specific place.
If a doctor or engineer want to work on a specific or advance study they can should be able to work from the place where working on that specific thing is easily possible, Also if a doctor or an engineer gets an achievement on whatever they are working. They dont lose thier identity which can make the country they trained from more respected. So, Ethics should not be the topic in such cases in the first place.
In conclusion, If a professional can achieve whatever they want to achieve from where ever they want to. They should have the freedom to do so.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you believe professionals should be free to choose where they work. You also give relevant reasons, including access to specialised study and the possibility that a professional’s achievements could bring respect to the country where they trained. However, the discussion is only partial: the view that professionals should serve the country that trained them is mentioned mainly through a brief reference to ethics, without explaining the country’s investment in their education or possible shortages of skilled workers. Several points are asserted rather than developed, so the response does not yet provide a balanced discussion of both views. Explain the opposing case fully, then support your own position with a specific example and clearer reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can identify your overall position. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The second paragraph moves from the importance of professions to education quality, ethics and personal choice, while the next paragraph repeats the point about choosing a suitable place to work. Connect each paragraph to one main argument and develop it in a logical sequence. Linking phrases such as “Even though,” “Also” and “So” are used, but some do not show the relationship precisely; for example, “Even though” introduces no contrasting main clause. Clearer referencing and fewer repeated points would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “development,” “specific subject,” “achievement” and “identity,” and your meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, which sometimes makes the argument harder to interpret. For example, “work from” is repeatedly used where “work in” or “work on” is needed, and “bad reputation” does not clearly describe the quality of a country’s education. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “belive,” “cruicial,” “thier” and “dont.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; this will help you express your ideas with less repetition and greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, such as “Even though a country with limited education … can affect the education…” and the conditional question beginning “What if they want to work…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. For example, “Professions like doctors and engineers which play…” is a sentence fragment, while “a doctor or engineer want” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The construction “they can should be able” is also ungrammatical, and “from where they have trained from” contains an awkward, duplicated preposition pattern. Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, and check agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries.
