Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years working as a professional is increasingly popular nowadays because more and more individuals are pursing their profession in their major. Many individuals argue that skilled persons should serve their own nation while others believe that are independent to work from around the globe. This essay will cover both perspectives and also my own view.
On one hand, some residents think that professionals should provide services to thier own country. These individuals get training here and are very well known of the problems and solutions related to thier field. They can easily solve it from thier past experiance. Moreover, it would boost up national economy which can help people to startup business in his own country. Another point worth considering is that, it will enhance literacy rate in country. For instance, no one will go abroad because every problem will be resolve there. So, there is no need to go to another country. The professionals will teach other youth the same skill. Consequently, it would be really beneficial for our future generation.
On the other hand, others believe that everyone has a right to work in a different country because they are independent. They acquired this skill to become very well financial stable and to live a quality life. For example, Pakistan is underdeveloped country and there is lack of career oppurtunities for professionals. As a result , most of the people wants to move to abroad.
To sum up, both views have strong arguments but i believe that it should be compulsory for people to serve his own nation after acquiiring a skill.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and state a clear opinion in the conclusion: you believe professionals should serve their own country after training. The points about applying local knowledge and supporting the national economy are relevant. However, the discussion is uneven: the case for working abroad is mainly that people are independent and Pakistan has limited career opportunities, with little explanation of the benefits this can bring to professionals or their destination country. Some claims in the first view are also unclear, such as the link between professionals staying and an increased literacy rate. Develop each side with a specific explanation or example, and make your position more explicit in the introduction as well as the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding summary. This makes the two perspectives easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For instance,” and “As a result.” However, some connections are mechanical or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas. For example, “For instance, no one will go abroad because every problem will be resolve there” is difficult to follow and does not clearly support the preceding point. The first body paragraph also moves quickly from economic benefits to literacy and then to teaching young people. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports its main point; check that pronouns such as “it” have an unmistakable reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “national economy,” “career opportunities,” and “underdeveloped country,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “pursing their profession in their major,” “very well known of the problems,” and “very well financial stable.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “thier,” “experiance,” “oppurtunities,” and “acquiiring.” Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. Replacing vague expressions such as “solve it” with a specific noun or verb would also make your ideas clearer and more academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while,” and “which.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors occur frequently and some sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “others believe that are independent to work” is missing a clear subject and has an incomplete construction; “most of the people wants” has a subject–verb agreement error; and “every problem will be resolve” uses the wrong verb form. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and possessives, as in “in country” and “his own country” when referring to professionals generally. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and verb forms.
