Student answer (Band 5.5)
This is considerable debate over wether the professionals like Doctors and Engineers should be required to work in their native countires or wether they should be allowed to work elsewhere. While there will be a huge benefits for the country where the intellectual minds serve for the well being of their own community, there are some advantages in allowing them to get exposure in the international environment as well.
One of the compelling reason to support the idea that the postgraduates should work in their homeland as they are assets and country spends a lot on their studies. Although there are huge benefits in going abroad to serve the other countries and creating harmony among the different cultures, living in the same country would also be a benefit to the local society in severals ways, thereby providing them with basic needs of life like health, infrastructure, and better teaching by competent teachers.
On the other hand, visiting other country will not only increase the remetences towards your country but it will also help in strenghtening the relationship among the different countries around the globe. For instance, the hogh officials brain drain under governmental supervision is allowing to share the advancment regarding all the aspects in the society as UNESCO and other international bodies are providing and encouraging the thrid worold countries to get benefited from these drills. Thus, there must be a check and balance as this should not because of the money and other perspective as it will eb unjustice and unfair approach.
In conclusion, while both aspects have their logics to follow, serving your own nation is fulm of pride and loyal approach as there is dire need to support ypur part of the society first, thereby it will boost the harmony and allow every human to get same type of amenties in their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and give a clear preference for professionals serving their own country, especially in the conclusion: “serving your own nation is full of pride.” The points about public investment in education and improving local health, infrastructure and teaching are relevant. However, the two views are not developed evenly: the case for working abroad is asserted through “exposure” and international relationships, but its benefits are not explained in enough detail. The example involving “brain drain,” UNESCO and “drills” is difficult to follow and does not clearly support the argument. To strengthen the response, explain each side with a specific, relevant example and state more precisely whether professionals should be required to stay or simply encouraged to contribute.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting work at home, a paragraph on working abroad, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, particularly in the long sentence about international bodies and “brain drain,” where several ideas are joined without showing how they relate. Some linking is also mechanical, with repeated “thereby” and “while.” References such as “this” in “this should not because of the money” are unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it, using more precise links between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “intellectual minds,” “international environment,” “brain drain” and “harmony.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “remetences” for money sent home, “hogh officials brain drain,” and “drills” in the discussion of international support. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “wether,” “countires,” “strenghtening” and “advancment.” Some phrases, including “full of pride and loyal approach,” do not sound natural in context. Prioritise accurate, familiar expressions and check spelling; use less common vocabulary only when you are confident of its meaning and collocation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Although” and “as,” and use some sentence variety. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors can make relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “One of the compelling reason to support the idea … as they are assets” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “this should not because of the money” is missing a verb. There are also agreement and article problems, as in “there will be a huge benefits,” and the final sentence contains several clauses that are not clearly connected. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check subject–verb agreement, articles and complete verb phrases before adding further ideas.
