Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers , should be required to work in the country where they did training while other people believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish. in my opinion, i believe that work in the own country is more beneficial because it save the country nationality or identity and develops with the new technology.

In the one hand, some people believe that doctors and engineers should be work in the country where did they training . one of the main reason is that it should be helpful for there country where doctors and engineers provide there several fair and facilities among there people. it country will be more devlops on the future for the effective and useable evidence where country is onging on the new technlology and device to treatment there patient by the help of doctor and enginerers developing how the house would suitable for the people for instance it save there country identity and grow there country in the high level. therefore, it save or increas the potentially oppurnities of the country.

In the second hand, other people believe that free to work in the another country if they wish one of the main reason is that, the person have independence and freedomness. they cannot be under in any people for there livehood.for example it increase the people capablility among then others when we are shifts from other country we have no idea instead of the our own country it encourage us to self dependent and to be familier unknown people so that, we are exprience the some of the obstclaes and problems when are are faces in the working journey if the person helps the poor and gdp low country can be easliy go that country and provide the treatment to the poor people which they cannot be affort easliy therefore, it helps the nation also from one to other.

In conclusion, both views have their own advantage. however, i believe that working in the same country where they are training because it helps to or more familier with the people and increase the GDP of there country providing there facilities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question and state a preference for professionals to work in the country where they trained. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons, including providing services to local people and supporting national development; the second recognises personal freedom and the experience gained by working abroad. However, these points are often asserted rather than clearly explained, and some examples are difficult to follow. The discussion of working abroad also shifts between personal independence and helping poorer countries without showing how these ideas connect. Your conclusion repeats your position but adds little support. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason with a clear cause-and-effect link and develop a specific, relevant example. The response meets the task’s length requirement; 34 words copied from the prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the broad direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow, particularly in the second body paragraph, where independence, adapting to a new country, and helping poorer nations are joined without clear transitions. Linking phrases such as “therefore” and “for instance” are used, but they do not always show a clear relationship between the ideas that follow. Some references, including “it” and “there,” are also unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in sequence; use fewer, more precise connectors and make references explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “independence,” “self dependent,” “GDP,” and “technology,” and you try to discuss national development and professional opportunities. However, the range is limited and many word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning hard to understand. Examples include “save the country nationality or identity,” “freedomness,” and “increase the people capability.” Spelling errors such as “devlops,” “technlology,” and “oppurnities” also reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of topic-specific collocations and check the form and spelling of each word. Prefer precise expressions such as “contribute to the economy” or “provide medical care” over vague or unnatural combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when,” and “which.” However, control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “doctors and engineers should be work” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “where did they training” has faulty word order and verb form. Subject–verb agreement and articles are also problematic in “it save the country” and “the person have independence.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including lowercase “in” and “i” and long sentences joined without clear punctuation. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
