Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and state your own view clearly in the conclusion: professionals should be free to work where they choose. The points about familiarity with the training country, national development, personal choice, and comfort at work are relevant. However, several are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that training in a country makes it easier to work there needs a specific reason or example, and the argument that professionals can help a country through their knowledge is not developed. The two sides are therefore addressed, but not equally or in sufficient depth. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each position and support at least one point with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the overall arrangement coherent, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “On the other side,” and “Concluding the topic” help readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and some links do not clarify the relationship between ideas. For instance, “Adding more” introduces a point that largely repeats the previous claim about experience. References such as “these professionals” are also repeated frequently. Group related reasons more clearly, use transitions that show contrast or consequence, and ensure each sentence adds a distinct step to the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “professionals,” “development,” “human right,” and “experience.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “these professionals,” “work,” and “country.” There are also noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems, such as “work their from,” “in their intrested country,” and “do their duty more effeciently.” These sometimes make the intended meaning less clear or sound unnatural. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for discussing employment and migration, and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise, natural combinations such as “work in their chosen country” and “contribute to the host country’s development.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “where” and “so,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “The professionals … need to work … is advocated” has an awkward, incorrect sentence structure; “these professionals have to given the free will” has an incorrect verb form; and “a person can do its job” has a pronoun-agreement problem. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, as in “It is due to the reason, that…”. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences, checking verb patterns and agreement, and punctuating clauses accurately before adding complexity.
