Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent times some people believe that the work done by professionals such as doctors and engineers should be in the place where they completed their training. On the other hand some argue that they should be free to work where they are interested. In my opinion these professionals should be given free rights to choose where they would like to work, not to be forced to work where they did their training. By giving the free opportunity they are likely to do the best of their work.
As in the current situation professionals are given rights to work were they would like to if the fulfil the required criteria for applying the job. These will result in the betterment of their career and the work they do. As given the rights people have freedom and may help the institution or the centre where they are working mitigate the situation occur there. in my opinion these is the best way to let an individual to perform at their best and give their best.
Whereas on the other hand if these professionals were not provided with the sufficient knowledge required at certain area of work it may exacerbate the situation. If they will be forced to work where they would not like to. It will result in a bad way. And working in the same country might benefit them in economy but overall the individual would not likely to be giving their best.
In conclusion, both the perspectives are true on their side but overall giving the freedom to the people would eventually result in the betterment of the career of the individual and the betterment of the country where he or she will be working. And giving them the opportunity to improve in their field of career.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear preference for allowing professionals to choose where they work, and you give a relevant reason: freedom may help them perform better. You also mention a possible benefit of requiring them to stay in their training country, namely economic benefit. However, the discussion of both views is only partial. The case for compulsory service is not explained in detail, and points such as “mitigate the situation” and “exacerbate the situation” are unclear because no specific situation or example is provided. Develop each side with a concrete reason or example, then explain why your preferred view outweighs the alternative. The conclusion repeats your position but adds little support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two positions, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “On the other hand,” “Whereas,” and “In conclusion” help signal the broad direction of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear, and some links feel mechanical or contradictory. For example, “As in the current situation” does not clearly introduce the point that follows, while “Whereas on the other hand” combines two contrast markers. The final sentence beginning “And giving them” is a fragment and does not connect smoothly to the conclusion. Use clearer topic sentences and make each paragraph develop one main point in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “required criteria,” “career,” and “freedom,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, which sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “free rights” is not a natural way to describe choice, and “mitigate the situation occur there” does not clearly express what professionals would improve. Repetition of “betterment,” “work,” and “best” also limits precision. Aim for more accurate collocations and specific vocabulary when explaining the benefits and drawbacks of each policy. The suggestions below offer alternatives that fit your argument more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they fulfil the required criteria” and “if these professionals were not provided with…” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some ideas harder to follow. Examples include “if they will be forced,” where the conditional form is incorrect, and “the individual would not likely to be giving,” which has an incorrect verb pattern. There are also agreement and sentence-boundary problems, as in “these is the best way” and the lower-case “in my opinion” after a full stop. Practise accurate conditional forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence construction before adding further complexity.
