Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals believe that professionals such as doctors and engineers, they should be required to work where they did their training. However, others believe that they should be free to work in any country wherever they want to work. In my opinion, they should be free to work in any country. This essay will discuss both the views.
On the one hand, working in any country has some benefits. Firstly, their standard of living improves in other country. Not only this bur also they outcomes from new challenges and learn to adopt themselves in that particular environment. This can help them to be strong. Secondly, professionals such as doctors and engineers, gets increment in their salaries due to the high demand of them in foreign countries. For example, Canada has the highest demand for medical field such as doctors and nurses, so they pay higher salaries to overseas in order to work there. Furthermore, broader opportunities for international doctors and engineers because their increasing demand attracts more clients. Because of that, their reputation builds spontaneously which helps them to get more opportunities in their further career.
Apart from that, they have rights and freedom to work in any part of the world, so there is no rule that they cannot work in this particular country. Lastly, working in other country makes their life better, not only this but also they gets chances to be permanent resident in that country, which makes their families life better.
On the other hand, is it also very necessary to work where we have got our training because it is our responsibility to serve our services to that country where we have trained. Secondly, it is also very important to work there due to lack of employees. Because, if everyone willing to work in foreign country, then what would be the future of their own country where they have trained.
In conclusion, Working in foreign country has some benefits such as, better life, new opportunities, new environment etc. However, working in our native country is also very important due to concern about its future and to pay our contribution. I believe that professionals should be free to work in another country if they want to.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You state a clear opinion in the introduction and conclusion: professionals should be free to work abroad, and you include arguments for both sides. The discussion of working overseas is more developed, with points about salaries, living standards and career opportunities, while the case for serving the training country is brief and relies mainly on responsibility and staff shortages. Some support is also unclear: the example about Canadian demand does not fully explain how this supports the wider argument, and the claim about gaining permanent residency is not explored. To strengthen the response, explain the opposing view in more depth and use specific examples to show how each reason affects professionals or their home countries. The response contains 352 words; 18 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the two views. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the second body paragraph continues the advantages of working abroad, while “Apart from that” does not clearly signal this shift or connect the point about rights to the preceding career arguments. Several ideas are listed rather than developed, and “Because of that” and “not only this but also” are used awkwardly or repetitively. Organise the body into one paragraph for each view, group related reasons, and use linking phrases only when their relationship between ideas is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “professionals,” “demand,” “salaries,” “opportunities” and “permanent resident.” However, the range is limited and some wording is repetitive, particularly repeated references to “work in any country” and “better life.” Several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “they outcomes from new challenges,” “learn to adopt themselves,” “pay higher salaries to overseas,” and “broader opportunities.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Aim for more precise phrases and check that verbs naturally fit their objects; for example, professionals can “benefit from challenges,” “adapt to a new environment,” and receive higher salaries than local alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, including “Not only this but also…” and a conditional sentence beginning “if everyone…,” but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that can make the reader pause. For example, “professionals such as doctors and engineers, they should” has an unnecessary repeated subject; “doctors and engineers, gets” has subject–verb disagreement; and “On the other hand, is it also very necessary” has faulty sentence structure. There are also errors in articles, plurals and possessives, as in “in other country” and “their families life.” Build accuracy first with clear subject–verb patterns, then practise combining clauses. Proofread each sentence for agreement, articles and punctuation, especially after introductory phrases.
