Student answer (Band 5.0)
There has been a debate over that qualified professionals like engineers and doctors would be encouraged to work in their own country where they are trained rather than going abroad. Some people argue that they should work in any country according their own wish. In this essay, i will discuss both point of opinion and give my opinion in the end.
In recent days, people are more towards moving to a foreign country to gain nationality and earn enough money and get good opportunity which their country are not giving even after their lots of struggle. Doctors having house jobs completed donot get a job and they are struggling after their training. In order to become famous and expert in their field, they are required to pursue specialization course which cannot be achieved without hardwork.Consultants who are famous can easily earn and donot need to work for long hours. Low wages are one of the reason for their decision while, limited promotion and less job oppportunities even after pursuing good qualification might be another cause which leads them to choose another country for their growth, education and work. Reference might be another reason which impacted their decision as mostly companies give a job on the basis of a reference. Although, many people after achieving a good qualification donot get a good paying job.
In others opinion, people think that every individual must explore other county as well where they settle easily and earn a enough wealth for living a luxurios life. Although, their choices can vary depending on the investment they are doing for going to abroad. Due to increased inflation, the way of living is compromised and their needs are not fulfilled due to increasingly prices of travelling, electricity, gas and water.
In my opinion, every professional has their own choices either to work in their own country or settle in abroad. What suits best to them, he must struggle for their growth and success.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response recognises the two positions and gives a personal view: professionals may seek better opportunities abroad, while your conclusion says they should choose where to work. However, the task asks you to discuss the argument that professionals should be required to serve the country where they trained, and this case is not really explained. The paragraph beginning “In others opinion” focuses mainly on the cost of living and settling abroad, rather than developing the benefits of requiring trained professionals to stay, such as returning public investment or addressing staff shortages. Your own position is also brief and not supported with a clear reason. To strengthen the response, explain both sides directly and use relevant examples to support your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can identify a broad shift between the views. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several different points are placed together without clear links. For example, the first body paragraph moves from migration and nationality to doctors’ training, consultants’ earnings, wages, promotion and references. The second paragraph’s discussion of inflation and utility costs does not clearly connect to the argument about professional freedom. Linking phrases such as “In others opinion” and “Although” are sometimes used inaccurately or do not show the relationship between ideas. Organise each paragraph around one main argument, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “qualified professionals,” “specialization,” “limited promotion” and “inflation,” and the general subject is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are unnatural, which sometimes makes the intended meaning less clear. Examples include “gain nationality,” “earn a enough wealth,” “luxurios life” and “their growth, education and work.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “opportunities,” “donot” and “luxurios” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling and spacing carefully. For instance, describe professionals as seeking “better career prospects” or “higher salaries,” rather than relying on broad or awkward expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example “Although, many people after achieving a good qualification donot get a good paying job.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction recur. Examples include “their country are not giving,” “every individual must explore other county,” and “What suits best to them, he must struggle.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in the lowercase “i” and the missing space after “hardwork.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to interpret. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add clauses with clear subjects and consistent pronouns; proofread for agreement, articles and punctuation.
