Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's society choice of working at the place where doctors and engineers took training or the place of their choice has become an issue of considerable debate. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before i give my opinion that there should be a perfect balance of both viewpoints for betterment of the nation and professionals on both sides.
On the on hand, supporters of the beliefe that professionals like doctors and engineers should be working the nation where they have been trained. The main reason behind this is that students have the precious chance to study in that nation to fulfill their dream. The country which is proving that education and training have built those institutes for their own development. For example, developing countries like - India train a lot of skilled professionals because they require a workforce to provide the facility to the public. So there should be contract for serving that nation for a certain amount of time after these professinal finish their training.
On the other hand, people who are in favour of the free choice of working anywhere in the world thinks that students who become professionals achieve that degree on tha basis of teir hardwork and consistancy. Moreover they have their personal resons like there dream to work in apurticular place.
In conclusion i would say it sholud be balanced.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You introduce the topic and state a position—“a perfect balance of both viewpoints”—and you give a relevant reason for requiring trained professionals to serve the country that educated them. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for working abroad is reduced to personal hard work and a desire to live elsewhere, without explaining its wider benefits or giving an example. Your own position is also not clarified beyond the phrase “balanced,” and the conclusion does not explain what that balance would involve. The response is 25 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop both views. To strengthen the response, explain each side with specific reasoning and examples, then state clearly what policy or principle you support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each viewpoint, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and the second viewpoint is not developed beyond a couple of related points. Some connections are unclear, particularly “The country which is proving that education and training have built those institutes,” where the relationship between public investment and a service obligation needs to be made explicit. The conclusion is too brief to bring the discussion together. Develop each paragraph around a clear main idea, explain how each supporting point follows, and use referencing and linking phrases to connect ideas rather than relying mainly on paragraph-opening transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “professionals,” “workforce,” “development,” and “free choice,” and phrases such as “considerable debate” show an attempt to use a more formal register. However, the range is limited, and several spelling errors—“beliefe,” “professinal,” “consistancy,” and “sholud”—make the writing less polished. Some word combinations are also unnatural, such as “proving that education” and “provide the facility to the public.” Aim for more precise expressions for the ideas you discuss, such as public investment in training, skilled workers, and freedom of movement. Proofread spelling carefully and check collocations so that your vocabulary communicates the intended meaning clearly and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “the nation where they have been trained” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people … thinks” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “there should be contract” is missing an article. The opening sentence also lacks an article before “choice,” and the final sentence does not express the intended position in a complete, clear way. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and articles, and build longer sentences from a clear main clause with supporting information. More accurate control of these patterns will make your ideas easier to understand.
