Student answer (Band 5.5)

People have different views, a large number of people believe that the expert worker, such as doctors or engineers, should be work where they completed their training course. Others people believe that it depands on their mind and if they want to work abroad or their country. I complately disagree with that idea because freedom is one of the most important thing rather than working on their country.

On the one hand, one arguement in favour of government may face lack of expert worker where they complete their training. The main reason is that when expert doctors or engieers leave a country where they did their course the government may face expert doctors or engineers shortage. In fact, without expert worker that can have negative side for economical growth or developing country. Moreover, the public authorities may face their worker shortage. For example, an expert engeneer can build hospital or roads in rural areas and doctors can provides free treatment. As a result, the country significantly rise the economic growth and develop country.

On the other hand, there are also strong arguement for expert worker need freedom and it depands on their mind. One important point is that better career opportunities because professional worker get new chance to build themselves. Furthermore, when professional worker live abroad they may get a lot of opportunities such cheep apartment, own car, also the goverment provides a good salaries. For instance, an engeneer if work in abroad it can open new opportunities and give them a high salary. Therefore, they improve their economic growth and give them a new way to create their own identity.

In conclusion, people may have vary in their opinion. Although work in a country where complete their cousre it can bring some benefits, however I believe that most important thing is that freedom.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both positions and state your view clearly in the introduction: “I completely disagree” with requiring professionals to work where they trained, because freedom matters. The two body paragraphs also give relevant reasons, including shortages of skilled workers in the training country and better career opportunities abroad. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The shortage argument is repeated and the examples about building roads or receiving free treatment are not clearly explained, while the benefits of working abroad focus mainly on salary and possessions. Your conclusion restates your preference but does not bring the arguments together. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific, relevant example, and make your position consistent and explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion, and examples are generally placed with the relevant argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes weakened by repetition, particularly the repeated claim that governments may face a shortage of expert workers. Some links are mechanical, and references such as “that” in “that can have negative side” are unclear. The conclusion’s “Although … however” construction also makes the relationship between ideas awkward. To improve, organise each paragraph around one distinct reason, explain it in sequence, and use linking phrases and pronouns only when their meaning is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “career opportunities,” “economic growth,” “shortage,” and “identity,” so the main ideas can be understood. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the reader work to interpret your meaning. Examples include “expert worker,” “it depends on their mind,” “cheap apartment,” and “create their own identity.” Repetition of “expert,” “worker,” and “opportunities” also limits precision. Spelling errors such as “depands,” “engieers,” and “goverment” further affect the impression of control. Build a more precise set of collocations for professional migration and public services, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “when … leave a country … the government may face” and a contrast in the conclusion. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “should be work” needs a passive or infinitive form, “doctors can provides” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “an engineer if work in abroad it can” is not a complete, well-formed clause. The final sentence also combines “Although” and “however” awkwardly. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then extend them with one subordinate clause at a time; check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
