Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a personal position: you argue that trained professionals contribute to their home country, while also recognising individuals’ freedom to choose where they work. This is relevant to the question, but the discussion remains partial because the reasons are brief and often unclear. For example, the claim that professionals help a country “show on the world our power” is not explained, and the freedom argument is mainly stated as “this is your life and your decision.” The conclusion also weakens your position by saying the question is “not easy to answer” before offering a general reminder about one’s country. Develop each view with a clear reason and a specific example, then state your own position consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These signposts help readers identify the two sides. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sequences. In the first body paragraph, the points about economic growth, national power, difficult training, and professional roles are listed without clear explanation of how they connect. The second body paragraph also moves quickly from gaining qualifications to personal choice and peace. Use shorter, clearly focused sentences, and connect each reason to its explanation or example. More precise referencing would also make relationships between ideas easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “professionals,” “economics,” “university diploma,” “skills,” and “opportunity,” and you use some topic-specific terms such as “doctors” and “engineers.” However, the range is limited and many word choices, forms, and spellings are inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning hard to understand. Phrases such as “the economicals situation,” “a human like engineers politicals doctors,” and “your peace full” are not natural or precise in this context. Repetition of general words such as “people,” “work,” and “country” also limits expression. Build accuracy with common collocations—for example, “contribute to the economy” and “seek employment abroad”—and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to form longer sentences and use contrastive structures, including “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” but control is inconsistent. Many sentences contain frequent errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation, which can make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “some people believe that … should be required …, While others think” joins clauses awkwardly and capitalises “While” incorrectly; “we are free to working” uses an incorrect verb pattern; and “anybody are free” has subject–verb disagreement. The conclusion, “after we show both opinion,” also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
