Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argued that some individuals believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the where they did their house job. While others believe that they should be free to work in abroad or where they want to. I totally agree with this notation.

On the one hand, it is the first priority of many professionals such as doctors and engineers to serve their own country where they have learnt about their profession.Morever, public investment and "Brain drain" medical and engineering education is heavily subsidized by taxpayers. In addition, developing countries suffer from severe staff shortages in vital sectors if graduates immediately

emigrate.

On the other hand, professionals should have their own freedom to work anywhere they want to.Morever, if a doctor or engineer migrate to abroad for his profession so by working their they would definately learn about many new skills, techniques, strategies and better wages. For instance In canada, there are lack of doctors in many hospitals. For this regard canada is inviting many professional doctors to their country and which is very beneficial for many professional doctors.Beside this many countries are also inviting many professional engineers for their bettar future.

In conclusion, for the reasons outlined below, I maintain that professionals have their own freedom and choice in working at any place but serving for the country where they born and raised and which make them is very significant. It is essential that they would learn alot of new things when they move abroad or any other place

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both views and state a preference for professionals’ freedom to work abroad, while also recognising the value of serving their home country. The points about taxpayer-funded training and staff shortages are relevant, as is the opportunity to gain skills and better wages overseas. However, the position is not fully clear: “I totally agree with this notation” does not specify which view you support, and the conclusion combines freedom to leave with the importance of serving one’s birthplace without resolving the tension. The examples are brief and some claims need explanation. The response is also 9 words below the required minimum; develop the reasons and examples further to meet the task requirement and support your position more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the discussion, and the main ideas are generally grouped by viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “For this regard” does not clearly connect the Canadian example to the preceding point, while “for the reasons outlined below” refers to reasons that have already been given. Repeated use of “Moreover” and “In addition” also makes the linking feel formulaic. Improve cohesion by explaining how each example supports its point and by using clearer references and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “public investment,” “taxpayers,” “staff shortages,” “emigrate,” and “subsidized.” These terms help communicate the central issues. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the response difficult to interpret, such as “house job,” “in abroad,” and “this notation.” There are also spelling errors, including “Morever,” “definately,” and “bettar,” and repeated general wording such as “many new things” and “anywhere they want to.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “country where they trained,” “work overseas,” and “this view” to express the intended meanings more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if a doctor or engineer migrate to abroad…” and a contrast between the two positions. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. Examples include “professionals … should be required to work in the where,” “if a doctor or engineer migrate,” and “there are lack of doctors.” These show problems with sentence construction, subject–verb agreement, and articles. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention: the opening uses a full stop before “While others,” leaving a fragment, and some sentences run together without spaces after full stops. Practise building accurate clauses before adding complexity.
