Student answer (Band 5.5)

Most people think that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should work in the country where they finished their training. Others postulate that they can go to another country for work if they want. In the forthcoming paragraphs. I have discussed both the perspectives, and I have given my own opinion at the end.

First of all, on the one hand, government would expect that they should work in their country. Government spend substantial amount of money for professional. They construct advanced class rooms, Laboratories, wards, hospitals and colleges. Then, professionals should contribute their knowledge for improvement for their country.

In addtion, country will be suffer from the shortage of professionals and experts like doctors and engineers. If everone will go to work in another after finshing their training, country would not be able to overcome some obstacles by themselves. Even,They need to rely on other countries. So, people must work in their own country and utilise their knowledge for country's developmet.

On the other hand, if they go to oversees, they would be offered significant amount of salary. Even, other country gives an opportunity to improve in both professional and personal growth. subsequently, sometimes, companies offere living and also transportation costs. then, having good job in multinational companies, they don't need to pay hefty bills of medical treatment. So, they should be free to work in anywhere where they want.

From my perspective, people should work in their own country and use their rewarding knowledge, stratagies and mind. Then, the country would develop their every field by themselves.

to sum up, people can do that they want. Then, they people should work in the country. So, the country will not need to suffer from less number of professionals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for professionals to work in their home country, so the response is relevant to the task. The reasons for requiring them to stay—public investment in training and the risk of shortages—are understandable, while higher salaries and career opportunities explain the opposing view. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the benefits of working abroad are listed rather than explained, and your final position is not fully consistent with the conclusion, which says people can choose but then recommends staying. Develop each side with a specific example and make your opinion consistent from the introduction through the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for the two views and a concluding paragraph. Basic signposting such as “First of all,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking phrases are occasionally mechanical or confusing. For example, “Even, They need to rely on other countries” does not connect smoothly to the preceding point, while “Then” is used repeatedly without showing a clear relationship between ideas. The introduction also announces that your opinion will come “at the end,” although it is useful to state it clearly earlier. Use more precise links and ensure each sentence develops the point before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “shortage of professionals,” “salary,” “professional and personal growth,” and “multinational companies.” These choices make the main ideas understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the response awkward—for example, “improvement for their country,” “go to oversees,” and “rewarding knowledge.” Spelling errors such as “addtion,” “everone,” “developmet,” and “stratagies” are also noticeable. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases, such as “contribute to national development” and “work overseas,” and proofread carefully for spelling and word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If everyone will go to work in another…” and a reason clause beginning “because” is not needed to understand your points. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently. Examples include “Government spend,” “country will be suffer,” and “they should be free to work in anywhere.” Sentence boundaries are also problematic in “In the forthcoming paragraphs. I have discussed…” and “Even,They need…”. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the meaning. Practise accurate conditional patterns and subject–verb agreement, and check each sentence for complete clauses and correct punctuation.
