Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowdays some people belive that doctor and engineers should be required to work in the country and on the other hand some people also belive that they should be free to work in another country if they wish people have their different different way to think and talk about it

although honestly on the first hand why engineers and doctor should be required to work in the country because they think that government spend a huge investement on education and medical if the doctor do work work their own country where they do training it helps people for example the urban area where doctor do tretmeant of the people it saves a lot of life.

and now on the other hand if doctor and enginerrs do work where they want it give them a good salary and full facality such as if aindian doctor do work in uk they get better facality better sallary and also get a chance to learn new skiils their and also helpful for their country the doctor or engineer give the ideas and new way to do work.

In conclusion i beleive that from both opinion have their on advantage proffessionals should help and sport their country and if they do work where they want irit gives a chance to make their life better

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both views: the first paragraph gives the argument that governments invest in training and that doctors can serve local communities, while the next describes better pay, facilities and skills abroad. You also state a personal view in the conclusion, so the main parts of the prompt are recognisable. However, the position is not fully clear: the conclusion says professionals should support their country but also that working elsewhere can improve their lives, without explaining how you balance these views. The examples are brief and some claims need explanation. The response is 189 words, below the 250-word minimum; the 30 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each argument and add a relevant, explained example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic overall structure, with an opening, separate discussion of the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “on the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint, and the reader can generally identify which side is being discussed. However, the opening runs several ideas together, and the first body paragraph begins with “although honestly on the first hand,” making the relationship between ideas unclear. Some links are repetitive or imprecise, and the conclusion does not clearly resolve the contrast. Use one focused paragraph for each view, connect each reason to its explanation, and use clear referencing so that phrases such as “it” have an unmistakable meaning.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “government,” “education,” “salary,” “facilities,” and “skills,” which allows the reader to follow the general discussion. However, vocabulary is basic and often repeated, and spelling errors are frequent, as in “Nowdays,” “belive,” “investement,” “tretmeant,” and “facality.” Some word combinations are unclear or unnatural, such as “full facality” and “give the ideas and new way to do work.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing public investment, professional migration and community needs, and check spelling carefully. Prefer accurate, natural collocations over trying to use more advanced words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express reasons and contrast, including a conditional example beginning “if an Indian doctor do work in UK,” and you use some longer sentences. However, sentence structures are very limited and errors are frequent, sometimes obscuring relationships between ideas. For example, “people have their different different way to think” has problems with number and sentence construction, while “it give them a good salary” has subject–verb agreement errors. Articles and plurals are also often missing or inaccurate, as in “doctor and engineers” and “in UK.” Punctuation is weak, with long run-on sentences and inconsistent capitalisation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then join them with controlled clauses and check agreement, articles and sentence boundaries.
