Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is true that experts are more rely on work in another place instead of where they finish their training. While some individuals believe that professionals should stay their home country where they finish their training or study, other argue they have the right to choose workplace whatever they need. I will discuss both views and give my opinion.

There are a number of reasons why experts should stay their own place. One of the prime reason is flexivility. This is because when they choose workplace where complete their training, it can be allow them to cope up this situation easily. Because they know about this place and also fimilear with this enviornment. For example, a doctor who finished their internship at hospital after that he or she join this hospital they know very well their patient health condition due to training seasion. As a result, it not only gives them convineance, but also makes them more productive.

On the other hand, despite staying home country give some advantages, moving another place will be beneficial for their further betterment. First and formost, when experts go abroad for work purpose, it can allow them to lead a better life. By moving another place, they can learn neumerus things related to their work. With this knowledge, they will be meet some companies requirment. For instance, an experts who go abroad and work such multinational companies and gain experience. As a consequence, gaining experience may allow them to become a CEO for this company where they work because some companies require experience. Therefore, they not only lead a better life but also fulfil their family needs.

In conclusion, although staying home countries give some benefites, I consider that moving another place can be beneficial for their future betterment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state your preference in the introduction and conclusion, so the response is relevant to the task. The discussion of staying in the training country focuses on familiarity and productivity, while the opposing view mentions better living conditions, learning, and career advancement. However, the reasons are only partly developed: the hospital example is difficult to follow, and the claim that overseas experience could lead to becoming a CEO is asserted rather than explained. Your position favours working abroad, but it would be clearer if you explained why this outweighs the benefits of staying. Develop each main point with a more precise explanation and a directly relevant example to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and linking expressions can feel mechanical or unclear. For example, the sequence from going abroad to meeting company requirements and then becoming a CEO does not show the relationship between these ideas convincingly. Some references, such as “this situation” and “this company,” are also vague. Organise each body paragraph around one clear reason, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence, using linking words only where they clarify the connection.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “professionals,” “training,” “productive,” “experience,” and “requirements.” There are also attempts to express more specific ideas about career development and family needs. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “more rely on work,” “cope up this situation,” and “lead a better life” in the context of professional migration. Spelling errors, including “flexivility,” “fimilear,” and “neumerus,” further reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases, check spelling carefully, and choose expressions that fit the intended meaning rather than translating directly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “While,” “when,” and “because.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some points hard to follow. For example, “other argue they have the right” has an agreement error, while “it can be allow them” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “For example, a doctor who finished their internship” also lacks a clear main clause, and several sentences have problems with articles, plurals, or sentence boundaries. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms before adding subordinate clauses.
