Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, there is a one trending topic about the workplace which become the centre of argument among all the professions such as doctor and engineers. Some indiviuals reckon that the graduates should serve there services in the country where they are trained, while others argue they should be free to choose their workplace. Let us further delve into the topic.

To commence with, some people believe that graduates only serve there time and hardwork to their nation only where they get their training because now most of the students are moving abroad after their graduation either for the higher studies or they have plan to get settle in abroad. However, our country spends lost of their funds to provide the high level of education for the childrens and make them strong and idependent even to survive in another country also .

On the other hand, some people believe that students are free to choose their work place and there destination if they wish to work in different country because in their graduation they are trained very well, so they can also work in different work settings because they know the basis already. If they want to work in different country, then there are no ristrication on them to work in same country.

In conculsion, i completely agree with the view point that nobody has the right to control others life, however, graduates already have enough knowleadge regarding with is wrong for them and its there personal choice to choose their workplace where they want to work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state your opinion in the conclusion: you explain that the country funds professionals’ education, then argue that graduates should be free to choose where they work. However, the discussion is only partial and the position is not fully clear throughout. The first view is presented mainly as a claim about public investment, without explaining why graduates should be required to repay that investment through service or how such a requirement might work. The opposing view is also asserted rather than supported with a specific reason or example. Your conclusion expresses a clear preference for personal choice, but the point that graduates know what is right for them is not developed. Explain each side more fully and support your opinion with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the shift between positions. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes unclear. In the first body paragraph, the move from students going abroad to the country’s education spending does not explicitly explain why that spending justifies requiring them to stay. The second paragraph repeats the idea that graduates can work elsewhere without adding a developed supporting point. Some linking phrases, including “To commence with” and “Let us further delve into the topic,” feel formulaic. Make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit, and use referencing and transitions more naturally.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “graduates,” “higher studies,” “education,” and “work settings,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “serve there services” appears to mean “serve their country,” while “serve there time and hardwork” does not express the intended idea clearly. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “indivuals,” “ristrication,” and “knowleadge.” Aim for precise phrases such as “public investment in education” and “professional obligations,” and check spelling carefully. Avoid repeating “work” and “country” when a more exact expression is available.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence structure and basic grammar occur often enough to affect clarity. For instance, “there is a one trending topic” has an incorrect article and structure, and “which become the centre” does not agree in tense with the surrounding sentence. In “they have plan to get settle,” the verb pattern and article are faulty. The final sentence also becomes difficult to follow because several clauses are joined without clear grammatical control. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
