Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a preference for professionals to work abroad, and you briefly present the opposing view that they should serve the country where they trained. However, the discussion is only minimally developed: the point about low salaries in Pakistan is repeated, while the benefits and drawbacks of each option receive little explanation or supporting example. Your position is clearest in the conclusion, but the opening is wordy and does not establish it directly. The response also falls 10 words short of the 250-word minimum; the 34 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. To strengthen the response, explain both views with specific consequences or examples, then state and support your opinion consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. However, ideas are not arranged in a clear, sustained progression: the first body paragraph gives a reason for working abroad, while the next briefly supports working locally, but neither develops its point before the conclusion shifts back to migration. Several linking phrases, including “Analyzing the statement further,” “Moving further,” and “To Encapsulate,” sound formulaic and do not clarify the relationship between ideas. The repeated reference to Pakistan’s economic problems also limits progression. Organise each body paragraph around one view, connect claims to explanations, and use simpler, more precise transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “professionals,” “salary,” “financial issues,” and “support their families,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, such as “the primary reason behind economical issues,” “professional prefer,” and “earned more additionally.” Spelling errors such as “substanial” and “eloborate,” along with inconsistent capitalization of “Pakistan,” are noticeable and reduce control. Some expressions, including “the impact of professionals,” are vague for this topic. Aim for precise collocations and avoid inflated introductory wording; vocabulary should help explain the reasons and consequences rather than repeat general claims.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to use longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “because they could earn more” and “because they have less salaries,” but control is inconsistent. Sentence fragments occur in “because in Pakistan professional were work hard” and “This is mainly because the economical issues of Pakistan.” Verb forms and agreement are also faulty in “other believe,” “professional prefer,” and “professionals prefered.” The conclusion contains an incomplete construction—“they might be face”—and punctuation is often missing or misplaced, including after “conclude that.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build longer sentences with correct subjects, verb forms and punctuation.
