Student answer (Band 5.5)
Every professionals want to earn higher salaries and get advance knowledge and skills. So, they want to work in the developed country which will be more beneficial for them,. So, some people argues that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training whereas other opposes that they should be free to work in another country if they wish. In my opinion they should have free will to work where they want.
On the one hand, requiring professionals to work in the country where they had done their training will be beneficial for society. Governments spend large amount of money on education and their training of professionals such as doctors and engineers. Therefore, is reasonable to expect graduates should contribute to their country development. For example, country which is under development must have shortage of the professionals for their needs.
On the other hand, many professionals who are not finically strong are doing their training in the country where it cost less and after completing their training, they do work in the country which is already developed as they get more benefits as high pays, more facilities as compared to other.
In conclusion, professionals such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work where they will, as if we force them it will be like we are taking their rights to freedom and closing their opportunity. If we provide them same facilities and higher salary in their home country their will be less chances that professionals will move abroad for work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a clear opinion that professionals should be free to choose where they work, and you give relevant reasons on both sides: public investment in training and the attraction of better pay and facilities abroad. However, the discussion is only partial and the supporting ideas are under-developed. For example, the point that developing countries may lack professionals is not explained with a specific consequence or example, and the case for freedom is mainly asserted rather than explored. Your conclusion also introduces improved home-country salaries and facilities without developing this solution in the body. The response contains 219 words, so it is 31 words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to develop both views fully. Add explanation and a relevant example for each side, while keeping your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This makes the two viewpoints easy to identify. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and some links between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For instance, “Therefore, is reasonable to expect graduates should contribute” does not clearly connect the government’s investment to the expectation that graduates serve locally. The second body paragraph gives reasons for working abroad but does not explain their implications or connect them explicitly to your opinion. Develop each paragraph through a clear sequence—claim, explanation, example—and use referencing such as “this investment” or “such migration” to make relationships between ideas clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “training,” “developed country,” “salary,” and “facilities,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There is also some attempt to express more specific concepts, such as “contribute to their country development.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or forms make the writing less natural, including “advance knowledge,” “finically strong,” and “higher pays.” Some phrases are repeated, particularly references to professionals and countries, rather than being varied with precise alternatives. Aim to learn common collocations for this topic, such as “advanced skills,” “financially secure,” “higher salaries,” and “contribute to national development.” More accurate and varied phrasing would help you express the argument with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast between the two views and a conditional idea in the conclusion. However, the range is limited, and errors in agreement, articles, sentence construction, and punctuation occur often enough to affect clarity. Examples include “Every professionals want,” “some people argues,” and “Therefore, is reasonable to expect graduates should contribute.” The final sentence also has an unclear construction: “their will be less chances” should be recast with a clear subject and verb. Commas and spacing are inconsistent, and the opening sentence contains an unnecessary comma before the full stop. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and building complex sentences with a clear main clause, for example: “It is reasonable to expect graduates to contribute to their country’s development.”
