Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should work in the country where they received their training because government spends money on education and training. While others believe that they should be allowed to work abroad for better career opportunities. I believe that professionals should have the freedom to choose their workplace and I will be explain in both views in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, the government spends a significant amount of money on education and training. So professionals should give something back to their country. If professionals doctors, engineers and teachers work in their country its help to support on national economy. In addition, people should work in the country they did help local people. For example, in rural area has less facilities for education, healthcare and infrastructure if professionals work in rural area its help to rural people. The small decision changed the national environment and improve the country's development.
On the other hand, professionals should have the freedom to choose where they want to work. Working abroad can provide higher salaries, better facilities and greater career opportunities. Furthermore, they can gain international experience and develop their professional skills. Everyone has the right to choose their workplace and everyone want to better living standards for themselves and their families.
In conclusion, the government spends a significant amount of money on education and training. So professionals should give something back to their country. Outweigh, professionals should have the freedom to choose where they want to work. Working abroad can provide higher salaries, better facilities and greater career opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and state your view clearly in the introduction: professionals should be free to choose where they work. The points about public investment, supporting the national economy, rural services, and overseas career opportunities are relevant. However, several ideas are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the rural example mentions limited facilities but does not show how requiring professionals to stay would address this, and the benefits of international experience are not illustrated. The conclusion repeats the two sides but does not clearly restate your own position; “Outweigh” also leaves the comparison incomplete. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or example, and end with a direct summary of your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the reader can generally follow the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from government spending to rural facilities and national development without clearly connecting each step. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, particularly “So” at the start of a sentence and “Outweigh” in the conclusion. The final paragraph also repeats earlier material instead of bringing the argument together. Use clearer links between claims and explanations, and make the conclusion synthesize rather than repeat.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “government,” “national economy,” “rural area,” “career opportunities,” and “international experience.” There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “better living standards.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “support on national economy,” “the small decision changed the national environment,” and “Outweigh” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Repetition of “professionals,” “work,” and “freedom” also limits flexibility. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for public services, migration, and professional development, and check that each phrase conveys a complete, precise meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening and a conditional example beginning “if professionals work in rural area.” However, control is limited, and frequent errors sometimes make sentences difficult to interpret. Examples include “I will be explain,” “If professionals doctors,” “its help,” and “in rural area has less facilities.” These show problems with verb forms, sentence construction, agreement, articles, and plurals. The sentence “While others believe…” is also a fragment because it lacks a main clause. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and articles. More accurate control of these basic patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
