Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
The response touches on working at home and going abroad, and it gives a personal recommendation that governments provide flexible loans. However, it does not clearly discuss both positions in the question: the case for requiring trained professionals to serve their country is not explained, and the freedom to work elsewhere is only indirectly addressed through study, income and remittances. The opening refers to what “many individuals” think rather than establishing your own view, while the final recommendation does not clearly answer whether professionals should be free to choose. Examples about studying abroad and helping needy people are not sufficiently connected to the policy debate. Develop each side with relevant reasons, then state and support your own position directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is some attempt to organise the response, beginning with an introduction and then moving through reasons and an example. However, the ideas do not form a clear progression: the discussion shifts from working in one’s country to studying abroad, paying fees, helping others and the stock market without explaining how these points relate to the two views. Linking phrases such as “After that” and “When” are repeated and sometimes make the sequence confusing. Paragraphing is also limited, so the different arguments are not clearly separated. Use one paragraph for each view and a final paragraph for your opinion, with clear topic sentences and references that show how each example supports the point.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “professionals,” “degree,” “income,” “economy” and “stock market,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and several word choices make ideas difficult to interpret, such as “better source of income,” “degree value” and “level up their economy.” Spelling errors, including “traning,” “aboard,” “peron” and “siginificant,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise expressions connected to the debate, such as professional service, skilled workers, labour shortages and freedom of choice. Check spelling carefully and choose collocations that express your intended meaning clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “when” and “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles frequently make the relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “where did they complete” needs a subject-verb structure such as “where they completed,” and “This money have” should be “This money has.” The sentence beginning “Usually, some of them have different point of views after completeing” also has problems with number and clause construction. Some sentences run together, particularly the final discussion of currency and government policy. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine related ideas using subordinate clauses and appropriate punctuation.
