Student answer (Band 6.0)

A number of people believe that professionals including doctors and engineers should work in that country where they completed their training, while others believe that the choice should be upto them where they want to work. Although professionals have their right to choose what they wanted to do with their career, I firmly believe that they are bound with some responsibilites to that country people where they did their training and they should carry out their practice there.

On the one hand, people support the idea that professionals should be free to choose their work place according to their wish because every individuals has their right to decide at which direction they want to carry out their career. For example one of my relative who is a doctor, i saw her from the early age how much she has dremaed of becoming a doctor and to get registered in one of the first world country along with achieving the highest recognition. Therefore, going to another country, achieving the career goal that was once dreamed of will help to fulfill one's wish. Moreover, professionals can explore the world and settle down anywhere according to their need and satisfaction because in the end of the day they are the people who will serve that profession.

On the other hand, professionals like doctors, engineers has some responsibilities towards the country people where they did their training. As, they learn and completed their training there they should serve those people's otherwise it seems like they just simply use those people and those people will remain deprive of proper treatment or infrastructures or services that they deserve. For instances if doctors earn their full degree completion with training in the country and left to abroad, there will be vacancy of those doctor for which people including the rural areas people for whom they were waiting throughout the

years. Furthermore, it will damage the countries wellbeing, the generation who will carry out the profession and serve people of that country.

To conclude, while the professionals have the right to choice where they want to work, I believe that they should fulfill their responsibility by serving people in the country where they earn their degree and training.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state a clear position: professionals may choose where to work, but you believe they owe service to the country where they trained. The two body paragraphs give relevant reasons, including personal career goals and the possible shortage of doctors in rural areas. However, the views are not developed equally: the case for freedom relies heavily on one relative’s ambition, while the responsibility argument would benefit from clearer explanation of how training is funded or how service could be fairly required. The conclusion restates your position but does not resolve this tension. Develop each side with a more general explanation and a specific, relevant example to make the discussion more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, some links are mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is occasionally unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “Moreover, professionals can explore the world” adds another reason, but its connection to the preceding personal example could be made more explicit. The long sentence about doctors leaving for abroad also becomes difficult to track. Use clearer topic sentences and divide complex points into shorter units; vary linking expressions and make references such as “those people” more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss the issue, including “professionals,” “career goal,” “responsibilities,” and “infrastructures.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “achieving the highest recognition.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “bound with some responsibilities,” “vacancy of those doctor,” and “countries wellbeing” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling and word-form errors such as “responsibilites,” “dremaed,” and “upto” also reduce control. Build a bank of accurate collocations for professional obligations and workforce shortages, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a concessive opening (“Although professionals have their right…”) and conditional reasoning (“if doctors earn their full degree…”). Meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction remain. For example, “every individuals has” should use a singular noun with “has,” while “doctors, engineers has” needs a plural verb. In “what they wanted to do,” the tense does not fit the general present meaning. The sentence beginning “For instances if doctors…” also needs clearer punctuation and a more controlled structure. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and tense consistency, and break long sentences into clauses that are easier to control.
