Student answer (Band 5.0)
Professions like doctors and engineers are very important for economic growth and medical growth of the country. Some people believe that professionls, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. others believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish. I completly agree with this atetement that these professionals should require to work in the country where they did their training.
On the one hand, these professions are very impoertant for country. Like, engineers helps government to build roads, dams, and industries in country which help a lot in development of the economy of country. Doctors are the heart of the well being of country people. doctors are very important for maintaining the health of people living in country. Professionals doctors are also very important for medical emergencies like cancer, accidents and heart attacks to treat them as soon as possible.
On the other hand, sometimes a professionals in these sectors shift to another countries for better opportunities and better salary. For example, in their own country sometime did not feel motivation and encouragement to do something new in their profession and do not have good equipments. so, they decided to shift in another country for good assistance.
In conclusion, professionals in field of doctors and engineers are important for their country as they can help in development of economic and medical science whichhelp their country people, but if they want to move to other country for their individual growth they should be free to go.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear opinion in the introduction, agreeing that professionals should work in the country where they trained, and you give relevant points about their contribution to development and healthcare. You also acknowledge the opposing view by mentioning better salaries, opportunities, and equipment abroad. However, the discussion is uneven: the reasons for requiring professionals to stay are only briefly listed, and the case for allowing them to leave is not weighed against your stated position. The conclusion also shifts to saying they should be free to go, which conflicts with your opening opinion. The response is 218 words, below the 250-word minimum; 42 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop both views with specific support and keep your position consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These signposts help the reader identify the two sides. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, with several points presented as a list rather than connected and explained. The conclusion repeats earlier ideas but introduces a different position, weakening the overall flow. Some links are also unclear, such as the move from professionals’ importance to the examples of emergencies. Build each paragraph around one main claim, explain how the example supports it, and use references and transitions to connect ideas without relying mainly on formulaic signposting.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “economic growth,” “better opportunities,” “salary,” and “medical emergencies,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “important,” “country,” and “professionals.” Some combinations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “medical growth,” “the heart of the well being,” and “good assistance.” Spelling errors—including “professionls,” “completly,” and “impoertant”—also reduce accuracy and can distract the reader. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe professionals as contributing to “economic development” and “public health,” and refer to “adequate equipment” rather than “good equipments.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a relative clause in “industries in country which help a lot in development.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to follow. Examples include “engineers helps,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “a professionals … shift,” where the article and plural noun do not match. The sentence “sometimes did not feel motivation” also lacks a clear subject and has an unsuitable verb form. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “others” and “doctors” after full stops. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete sentence structures before adding more complex clauses.
