Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argue that different kind of professionals should work in that specific county where they got training while others believe that they must be free to take this decision whether they want to continue in the same country or they want to avail any other opportiunity.
The very first thing is that most of the people live in independent countries and we have freedom to choose what we want. If we take these suggestions then if people are asking professionals to be in the same country then they are on valid point. For instance, if anyone is getting training in Pakistan then he/she leave the country and avail any other options then it might be not good for Pakistan because when these kind of professionals leave their country then sometimes countries have to face different situations like less professional people and it can also effect the image of country. So considering them to live in same country is good for the country. In addition, if all good doctors and engineers of any specific country leave the place and avail other options then it can be difficult for those who want to build good houses and who want to cure from their diseases completely because, if they leave the country then we would not have any good options.
On the other hand, if we look, we live in independent countries and we have have options to avail them without any country pressure. For instance, if anyone is not earning good enough to fullfill their needs then they would definitely choose to avail best options although they are good and famous in their own country but if they are not earning that much money they will choose other better options for them. If I take example from pakistan then, we have a number of graduated students who are suffering from unemployment and they are trying to avail good options because it is difficult for them to survive in this environment. Similarly, we have numerous doctors and engineers who are trying to get good jobs even though they are good enough in their experience and skills that they can earn good enough but in Pakistan they have to suffer just because of unemployment. So, whenever they get a chance to avail any good opportiunity they would definitely catch that instead of thinking about the country.
In conclusion, I will give opinion that if people want professionals to work in the same country where they did training then they should take a stand against the things which emphasis them to leave the country and besides this, the government should take actions regarding this.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views: the first body paragraph explains how the departure of trained professionals could leave Pakistan short of doctors and engineers, while the second gives reasons professionals may seek better pay and employment abroad. Your conclusion also suggests that governments should address the conditions that drive people to leave. However, the position is not fully clear: the conclusion does not directly state whether professionals should be free to choose or required to remain, and the opening mainly restates the debate. Several claims, such as leaving harming a country’s image, are asserted rather than explained. State your own view explicitly and develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or relevant example to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” help signal the shift between positions, and examples about Pakistan generally relate to the paragraph topics. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive: the second body paragraph repeats that professionals seek better opportunities and that unemployment is a problem without clearly separating these points. Linking phrases such as “For instance,” “In addition,” and “Similarly” are used frequently, sometimes where the relationship between ideas needs more explanation. Improve cohesion by grouping related points, using clearer references, and ensuring the conclusion follows directly from a stated position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “professionals,” “unemployment,” “experience and skills,” and “opportunity.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “avail” and “good options,” which makes the argument less precise. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “county” for “country,” “opportiunity,” and “fullfill.” Some combinations sound unnatural, including “suffer from their diseases completely” and “catch” an opportunity. Choose more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe professionals as “seeking better-paid positions” and patients as needing access to “effective medical treatment.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if anyone is not earning good enough … then they would definitely choose” and clauses beginning with “because” and “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “if anyone is getting training … then he/she leave,” “we have have options,” and “the things which emphasis them to leave.” There are also problems with agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using controlled subordinate clauses. Proofread specifically for repeated words, subject–verb agreement, and consistent verb forms.
