Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is always an topic of debate between two groups, some individuals believe that professionals, such as medical experts and engineers should stay in their country where they completed their expertise, whereas other group believe that they should be free to work in any country they want. I believe that they should be free to work in any country they want, because they will get global platform to show their expertise and also high compensation. This will discuss both views and opinion in following paragraphs.
The group of people who believe that doctors and engineer should work in country were they completed their course, because government contributes to their education and infrastructure to built good engineers and doctors that will help a nation in future. But they leave country and work in another country it was loss of government funds. For example, someone completing their degree from government institute but if they choose to work in another country for better opportunities and higher pay. As a result, administration who spent their time and money will in loss.
On other people who believe professional should be have freedom of choice, because many time doctors and engineer does not get the compensation they deserve, so they decides to leave country. For instance, in India engineer have less minimum wages as compared to other countries so most of the engineers from India decides to work in abroad. Moreover, if they work in other country they will get global recognition that helps them to grow.
In conclusion, although people believe that experts such as engineer and doctor should stay in country they completed their degree, I strongly believe that they should have freedom of choice if they are getting more pay and global recognition.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state your position clearly: you support professionals being free to work abroad, citing better pay and international recognition. The explanation of the opposing view—that public investment in training may be lost when graduates leave—is relevant, and the India example supports your argument about pay. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that working abroad provides a “global platform” is not developed with a specific consequence or example, and the government-funding argument could acknowledge the professionals’ contribution or explain why a work requirement would be fair. Develop these ideas more evenly and make the reasoning behind your opinion more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that restates your position. The progression is easy to follow, and signposts such as “For example,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the stages of the argument. This already gives the essay a coherent arrangement. To make the connections more natural and precise, avoid relying on formulaic transitions and improve links between claims and their explanations. For example, “On other people who believe” does not clearly introduce the contrasting view, while “As a result” leads to a conclusion that could be explained more directly. Use clearer topic sentences and refer back to the central question of whether professionals should be required to stay.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “government contributes,” “higher pay,” “freedom of choice,” and “global recognition.” These expressions allow you to discuss both public investment and professionals’ opportunities. However, the range is limited in places, and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural or imprecise, such as “completed their expertise,” “global platform,” and “administration … will in loss.” Repetition of “country,” “work,” and “believe” also reduces flexibility. Aim for more precise topic language and check how words combine in English. For example, you could describe public spending as an “investment in professional training” and explain that a country may experience a “shortage of skilled workers” when graduates leave.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “whereas,” and “if,” and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical forms are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. Examples include “It is always an topic of debate between two groups,” “But they leave country … it was loss,” and “professional should be have freedom.” There are also problems with articles, plurals, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms, as in “doctors and engineer” and “they decides.” Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement and tense before adding more complexity.
