Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state your own position: the introduction says you believe professionals should work abroad, and the final paragraph returns to the contrast between local service and overseas opportunities. The reasons are relevant, including familiarity with local infrastructure and diseases, and the chance to gain experience abroad. However, these points are only briefly explained. The claim that working abroad lets professionals “represent their homeland” is not clarified, and the essay does not give a specific example to support its reasoning. The discussion therefore covers the task, but the two sides are not developed equally or in enough detail. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each reason and support at least one point with a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” make the change in viewpoint easy to follow, and the conclusion summarises the main contrast. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. The opening “While other think” is not a complete sentence, and “By solving difficult hurdles could improve people lives” does not clearly connect the proposed action to its result. The conclusion also begins “While,” although the second idea is not a complete contrasting clause. Use complete sentences and make the relationship between each reason and its explanation explicit; this would make the progression smoother and cohesion less dependent on formulaic transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “career opportunities,” “infrastructure,” “obstacles,” and “desired occupations,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as professionals’ familiarity with local problems. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations are noticeable: “veiwpoints,” “traning,” “golden oipportunity,” “work in abroad,” and “leverage.” These reduce precision and sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Build a reliable set of collocations for this topic—for example, “work overseas,” “gain professional experience,” and “serve the local community”—and proofread spelling. More accurate phrasing would help you express your ideas without relying on awkward combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a conditional-style explanation beginning “By moving abroad.” However, control is inconsistent, and several sentence structures are faulty. “While other think…” is a fragment, “By solving difficult hurdles could improve…” lacks a clear grammatical subject, and “working abroad could leads” uses an incorrect verb form. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “what kinds of diseases exists” and the comma splice in “it is because these professionals encounter with local problems…, they have also an idea…”. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise forming complete clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and separating independent clauses correctly.
