Student answer (Band 5.5)

In a country, there are various types of professionals belongs to. They do their work in the every part of the country so that they can consume their profession properly and give the service to the clients. Some professions like doctors and engineers can work any time at any where they want, specially doctors. I think they should be free to work both his/her own country and ouutside of the country.

Doctors and engineers are working for the betterment of the people. They gathered knowledge about their core activities and apply this knowledge on clients so that people can be get benefit from them. If a doctor or engineer trained up from his/her own country and apply this knowledge on the local people, he/she would be succes properly, he/she can apply it only the boundary of the country side. But, a doctor or a engineer wants to apply his/her knowledge not only the boundary of the country but also work in the another country, as a result, both professions can be learn more knowledge about their profession. Besides, they can work freely which can impact their own satisfaction as well as income.

On the other hand, sometimes they get more facilities and reawards in the another country rather than own country. As a result, they can not back to their own country. So, it's a major problem about brain-drain.

In the conclusion, I would say that, thses professionals must be work in both their own country as well as another country freely if they want. Besides, they should be moral about their own country to serve their country people in first priority.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall opinion: professionals should be free to work abroad, while also serving their home country as a priority. You also introduce a relevant concern about brain drain. However, the discussion is only partial: the benefits of working abroad are mentioned, but the case for requiring professionals to work in the country where they trained is not explained in a balanced or developed way. For example, the claim that local training helps professionals serve local people is difficult to follow and is not supported with a specific reason or example. To strengthen the response, explain both positions directly, then support your view with a concrete example and clarify how professionals could contribute to their home country without being compelled to remain there.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic overall structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, a counterpoint about brain drain, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In the conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within the main paragraph is difficult to follow: ideas about applying knowledge locally, gaining knowledge abroad, satisfaction, and income are joined without clear explanation of how they relate. Some references, including “they” and “this knowledge,” are also not always precise. The conclusion repeats the position but adds the new idea of serving home-country people first without resolving how this fits with freedom to work abroad. Use separate paragraphs for each view and connect each claim to its explanation or example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “core activities,” “facilities,” “income,” and “brain-drain,” so the main subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. For instance, “consume their profession” does not express the intended idea, and “work in the another country” is an unnatural phrase. There are also spelling errors such as “ouutside,” “succes,” and “thses.” Aim to learn common collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “practise their profession,” “work overseas,” and “skills” would help express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “If a doctor or engineer trained up…,” and you use connectors to relate clauses. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to understand. Examples include “professionals belongs to,” “people can be get benefit,” and “these professionals must be work,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Articles and sentence patterns also cause problems, as in “a engineer” and “work in the another country.” Practise building accurate sentences with modal verbs, passive forms, and conditionals; for example, use “must work” rather than “must be work.” Shorter, carefully checked sentences would improve clarity while you develop more complex structures.
