Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is a common belief that professionals should work in the country where they taught whereas there are other liberal people who believe the opposite concept that is professionals should be free to work wherever they want to.I think people should have the right to choose their workplace,if he does not go through a professsional training which has a special purpose such as doctors read from public medical free of cost in Bangladesh and the government paid their tuition fees as they are expected to serve the country.
There are plenty of regions for what professionals should have liberty to choose where they want to wok .The quality of a professional work depends on the state of his mind,so his own choice help to improve his work quality.Besides every professional have a dream about his carrier. For example ,an electrical engineer want to make an autonomous vehiche and he went abroad to get training as there is not any oppurtunity in his country. Moreover, professionals also have a family and to stay with family he may have to work in other country.
However, it is also expected that professionals should work in the country where they did their training as any institution is built in any country for the betterment of the people of this county. In addition, any professionals can serve best in the place of his training. For example a doctor was trained in America,he cannot deliver his best in Africa as the medication system as well as the nature of patients are different from his training place.
In conclusion, both point of view has valid region, but the decision to work in other country for any professional should be taken by comparing the positive sides for working in abroad with the degree of expectation the country have where he trained.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both positions and give a clear preference for professionals’ freedom to choose where they work. The reasons for mobility—work quality, career ambitions and family ties—are relevant, and the example of an engineer seeking opportunities abroad helps illustrate this view. You also explain why a country may expect trained professionals to serve locally. However, some points are not fully developed: the opening reference to publicly funded medical training in Bangladesh is difficult to connect to your stated opinion, and the claim that a doctor trained in America cannot perform well in Africa is too absolute and needs qualification or support. Explain how to balance individual choice with a country’s investment in training to make your position more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow overall, and signposts such as “Besides,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help show the direction of the argument. The progression is generally logical, but some links between ideas are abrupt. For instance, the Bangladesh example appears in the introduction before the argument for freedom is established, and the final sentence introduces a comparison without explaining how it should guide the decision. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as in “this county” and “the place of his training.” Develop a clearer sequence within paragraphs and use more precise links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss professional mobility, including “liberty,” “training,” “tuition fees,” “autonomous vehicle,” and “medication system.” There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as professionals’ career ambitions and family responsibilities. However, inaccurate word choice, spelling and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “plenty of regions” does not mean plenty of reasons, “carrier” is used for “career,” and “work quality” is less natural than “quality of work.” Several phrases are also awkward, including “the opposite concept” and “degree of expectation.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your ideas easier to understand without requiring more complicated vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “as,” and “as they are expected to serve the country.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas can generally be understood. However, errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “every professional have” should be “every professional has,” and “his own choice help” should be “his own choice helps.” The opening contains a run-on structure, while “if he does not go through a professional training” does not clearly express the intended condition. Use shorter, accurately punctuated sentences where needed, and check subject–verb agreement and article use when editing.
