Student answer (Band 4.0)
Many people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in country where they did their training. But many other people believe that they spend their services in their own country. I agree with both opinions. Firstly, many peoples believe to prefer for doing work in his country. Specially doctors and engineers, because they did their training in his country. So first periority is to serve their services in his country, and that is our moral duty. But in our country these is more profitable professions. People believe to doing their services in their country. Specially in our country doctors and engineers can gain more profit. But some people believe to serve their services free to work in another country if they wish. I agree with this opinion to work free in another country. Because many other countries, specially poor countries, peoples prefer to doing free work in another country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You attempt to discuss both views and state a position with “I agree with both opinions,” so the response is relevant to the question. However, the position is not clearly explained: the task asks whether professionals should be required to stay or should be free to leave, while your opening also says they “spend their services in their own country.” The reasons are brief and repetitive, and the claim that serving at home is a “moral duty” is not supported with an example or explanation. The second view is mentioned, but the point about poor countries and “free work” does not clearly explain why professionals should be free to choose another country. The response is 131 words, below the 250-word minimum; 24 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each view and support your opinion with relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
The response has a basic structure: an introduction, a paragraph beginning “Firstly” for one view, and a final paragraph for the other. This gives the reader some sense of the two sides being discussed. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several sentences repeat the same point about serving in one’s own country without adding a new reason. Connectors such as “But” and “So” are used, but the relationships between ideas are not always clear; for example, the shift from a moral duty to the claim that these professions are more profitable is unexplained. The final paragraph ends without a conclusion that brings the discussion together. Organise each view around a distinct reason, explain how the ideas relate, and add a clear concluding statement.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “professionals,” “doctors,” “engineers,” “training,” and “moral duty,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “serve their services” and “in their country.” Some word choices or collocations make the intended meaning unclear: “spend their services” does not express the idea of providing professional work, and “work free” could mean working without pay rather than being free to choose where to work. There are also spelling errors such as “periority” and “peoples.” Build a more precise range of phrases for employment and migration, and check spelling and collocations so your ideas are easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You mainly use simple sentences and make an attempt at a longer sentence with “Because many other countries…,” showing some effort to connect reasons. Meaning is generally recoverable, but grammatical control is inconsistent. For example, “in country where they did their training” is missing an article, “many peoples believe” has an agreement and plural-form problem, and “people believe to doing” uses an incorrect verb pattern. In “these is more profitable professions,” the demonstrative and verb do not agree with the plural noun. The sentence beginning “Because” is also left as a fragment rather than joined to a complete main clause. Practise articles, subject–verb agreement, and verb patterns, then combine ideas into accurate complete sentences using a wider range of structures.
