Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely argued that , Individuals such as doctors and engineers must be work there where they did their training . In contrast , others opine that they should be work according to their preference . Personally however , I, side with the former view .
On the one hand , professionals workers must work there where they had trained . One major reason is that they do not need marketing for popularity . This is because the place already familiar to them and people around them who need treatment or guidance already known them . As a consequence , their prominence will increased . Therefore they do not need spend finance for advertising . For instance people are always visit doctor and engineer they know . Another crucial reason is that , they get vast number of opportunity . This happens due to fact that , they are experienced to their work . As result , after graduation they do not need to seek work else where . Consequently , they can utilize the time on progress rather then seeking jobs . For example , doctors and engineers persuade PHD degree after graduation .
On the other hand , worker should be migrate in another country . One vital reason is that , financial stability and enhance lifestyle . This is because , first world country provide higher salary then others country . As a result they can lead a wealthy lifestyle . For example in USA doctors get average revenue around 50 thousand dollar to 70 thousand dollar per years . Another significant reason is that learning about diverse ethnicity and culture . This happens due to fact that they can interact with varieties of humans . As a consequence , their communication skills develop ;moreover , it helps them to enrich their cognitive knowledge .
In conclusion , I firmly hold the view that a balance approach is the most reasonable based on reasons discussed above .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views and give a personal position, so the response addresses the main parts of the prompt. The first body paragraph supports requiring professionals to stay by referring to familiarity, local opportunities and time to pursue further study; the second presents higher salaries and cultural learning as reasons to move abroad. However, the position is not fully consistent: the introduction supports the first view, while the conclusion says a “balance approach” is most reasonable without explaining what that balance would involve. Several points are also under-developed or unclear, such as the claim that local professionals need no advertising and the example about pursuing a PhD. Explain how each reason supports the relevant view and make your final opinion explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined mechanically with “This is because,” “As a consequence,” and “Therefore.” The links do not always show a clear relationship: for example, the move from local familiarity to not needing advertising is asserted rather than explained. Some sentences also contain unclear references, such as “they are experienced to their work.” Use fewer repeated linking phrases and build each paragraph around a clearly explained reason followed by a relevant example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial stability,” “diverse ethnicity and culture,” “communication skills,” and “cognitive knowledge.” These choices show an effort to discuss professional migration beyond basic statements. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “reason,” “work,” and “people,” and several word combinations are inaccurate or unnatural. For instance, “vast number of opportunity,” “average revenue,” and “experienced to their work” make some ideas less clear. There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “else where” and “rather then.” Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations and choose precise terms—for example, “salary” rather than “revenue” when discussing a doctor’s pay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including cause-and-effect clauses beginning “This is because” and “As a consequence.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. Examples include “must be work,” “they should be work,” and “their prominence will increased,” where verb forms are incorrect. Agreement and sentence construction are also problematic in “people are always visit doctor” and “first world country provide higher salary.” Articles, plurals, and punctuation are often missing or inconsistent, while spaces before commas and full stops interrupt readability. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for articles, plural endings, and punctuation.
