Student answer (Band 4.5)
The professionals are considered as the helping hand for a nation, their skills and abilities bring a change to the enviornment. Doctors and Engineers are the most well known professionals worldwide. Doctors have a golden chance to payback the country which gave them most of their lives by helping people in their difficult times . Engineers can help grow the infrastructure of the country once they criticized.
Professionals should apply their skills to the country that gave them training as cheque of paying back. They must encourage and focus on growing the country's economy that focused on them during their training. For example , Doctor who was being trained for future patients must support the nation that was paying for the training, stand by them in the difficult times.
On the other hand , they should be set free to work in any country as part of their personal preferences

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify both sides of the issue: professionals should contribute to the country that trained them, while they may also be free to choose where to work. However, the discussion is only minimal and does not fully address the task. The first view receives some explanation through the idea of repaying the country and supporting its economy, but the opposing view is only introduced in the final sentence, with no reason or example. Your own opinion is also not clearly stated. The response is 100 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop the arguments. To improve, explain the benefits and drawbacks of each position, give a relevant example, and state your view clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph supports professionals working in the country where they trained, and “On the other hand” signals a contrasting view. These features give the reader some sense of direction. However, the response ends immediately after introducing that contrast, so there is no developed progression or conclusion. Connections within paragraphs are also limited, and the opening sentence joins two complete ideas with a comma, making the relationship unclear. Build a fuller structure with an introduction and position, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Use linking phrases to show how each reason supports the point being made.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “professionals,” “skills and abilities,” “infrastructure,” and “economy,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “golden chance” and “payback.” However, the range is limited, and several choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear: “as cheque of paying back” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “the country that gave them most of their lives” is difficult to interpret. “Once they criticized” also appears to use the wrong word for the intended meaning. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “repay the country’s investment” and “contribute to national development,” and check spelling, including “environment.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response includes mostly simple sentence patterns, with a few attempts to combine ideas, such as “Doctors have a golden chance to payback the country … by helping people.” These attempts show some range, but complex structures are often faulty or incomplete. For example, “The professionals are considered as the helping hand for a nation, their skills…” joins two independent clauses with only a comma. The final sentence, “On the other hand, they should be set free to work in any country as part of their personal preferences,” has no supporting explanation and leaves the argument unfinished. There are also errors in articles and sentence construction, as in “For example, Doctor who was being trained…” Practise accurate clause boundaries and complete sentences, then vary sentence forms while checking articles and verb patterns.
