Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some people argued that professionals should be required to work in the country where they did their trainning. Some people believe they should be free to work in any country of their choice. In this essay i will discuss both these views and will support my opnion with example that why these professionals should be free to work in any country they want to.

On the one hand, people think that these professionals should work in the country of training because this will benefit both the country and public. They will understand the people more better than other country's individuals. They understand the culture and public's demand of their respective profession. This will benefit the country's economy and will bring innovation rather than going to other country and putting efforts and your intelligence in that.

In contrast, Some people think that they should be free to work in any country of their choice. This will help them to grow in their respective fields. They will be more satisfied and happy working in their favourite country. They will be beneficial for that country economy. They will get more exposure and chances to prove themselves. For examples, the doctors and engineer from developing countries like south asian countries move to developed countries of Europe and Middle East to get more opportunies and better salary packages.

In my opinion, one should be free to work in any country they want to.That is only the way of getting more experience and their field and better employment opportunities. For example, ceo of many big tech companies like Google, Youtube is from India. They did not get any opportunies in their country of training, thats why they moved to USA to get better in their field and they succeed in doing so.

In conclusion, People should be allowed to work in any country of their choice so that they can enjoy the life. They can get better employment with better salaries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and state a consistent preference for allowing professionals to work abroad, so the main parts of the task are covered. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons for requiring professionals to stay, including their understanding of local culture and public needs. However, this view is only briefly developed, and the claim that this would bring innovation is not explained. Your support for freedom to move is clearer, with points about exposure, satisfaction and employment, but the examples about technology-company leaders do not directly demonstrate the situation of doctors and engineers. Develop each side with more precise reasoning and examples that closely match the question.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, your opinion and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the overall argument, and phrases such as “On the one hand” and “In contrast” signal changes in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is often a sequence of short, similar claims rather than a developed line of reasoning. The repeated “They will…” sentences make the discussion feel list-like, and “In contrast” does not clearly connect the second view to the first. Some references, such as “that” in “That is only the way,” are also unclear. Use linking expressions more precisely and explain how each reason supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “professionals,” “economy,” “innovation,” “exposure” and “employment opportunities.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “country,” “work” and “better.” Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “more better,” “public’s demand” and “get more opportunities,” while spelling errors including “trainning,” “opnion” and “opportunies” are noticeable. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the argument, but they reduce precision and fluency. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for discussing migration, professional development and public services, and proofread spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate your main points using mostly simple sentence patterns, and you attempt some longer structures, for example, “because this will benefit both the country and public.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas are not consistently controlled. Errors include missing articles in “both the country and public,” the comparative construction “more better,” and the sentence fragment-like phrasing “That is only the way of getting more experience and their field.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “Some people” after a comma and the run-on spacing after full stops. Practise accurate articles, comparatives and sentence boundaries, then vary sentence structures while keeping each sentence clear.
