Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You address both views: the first body paragraph argues that professionals can support the country where they trained, while the second says working abroad can build skills and experience. Your conclusion also attempts to give an opinion, but “both are views” does not clearly explain which arrangement you support or under what conditions. The reasons remain very general, and examples such as “Every profession person” do not show a specific outcome or situation. The response is also below the required 250 words: 41 words copied from the prompt were not counted, and the counted response is 26 words short. Develop each side with a clear reason and a relevant, concrete example, then state your position directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs beginning “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a concluding paragraph. This helps the reader identify the two views. However, progression within the body paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear relationships, as in “Their profession should increased government economy and enhance whole country problem solve they gives new experience.” The example sentences also repeat broad claims rather than extending the point. Some linking phrases, including “For example” and “To sum up,” are used, but they do not consistently make the argument easier to follow. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and connect examples explicitly to that claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “expand their skills,” “gain new experience and knowledge,” and “provide employment.” These phrases show an effort to discuss professional development and national benefits. However, word choice and spelling are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the intended meaning unclear. For instance, “both are assists their rogress” and “they proud of nepali students and skills” are difficult to interpret, while “progress their future” is repeated without a precise meaning. There are also spelling errors such as “enginners,” “counrty,” and “beacuse.” Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling; choose specific expressions for benefits, such as contributing to public services or transferring expertise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response uses basic structures to introduce contrasting views. However, control of sentence formation is inconsistent, and errors frequently obscure relationships between ideas. Examples include “doctors and engineers, should be required,” “they can help progress their future,” and “When improve our counrty knowledge and takes care,” where clauses are incomplete or verbs do not fit their subjects. Articles, agreement, and punctuation also need attention, as in “it is a very important” and the missing spaces after commas. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine them using accurate subordinate clauses. Proofread for agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries so that longer ideas remain understandable.
