Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, there is an ongoing debate about whether skilled professionals such as doctors and engineers, should remain in the same country where they recieved their training or have the freedom to work abroad. Some people belive they should served their own country, others support their right to choose their work place.
On the one hand, Some people believe that professionals should work in the country where they recieve their training. This is because governments spend a considerable amount of money on education and professional development. Therefore, skilled workers should contribute to their own society. For example, if a large number of doctors move abroad, local hospitals may face a shortage of medical staff. As a result, ordinary people may find it difficult to recieve proper healthcare services. This can negatively affect the development of the country.
On the other hand, many people believe that professionals should have the freedom to work in any country. The main reason is that developed countries usually offer better salaries, modern facilities and excellent career oportunity. This help professionals improve their skills and achieve financial stability. For example, doctors who move abroad can work with advanced medicak equipment and gain valuable international experience. As a result, they can develop their professional abilities, support their families financially and enjoy a better standard of living.
In conclusion, professionals are important for the development of their home countries, I beleive that should have the freedom to work abraod if they wish. However, governments should provide better salaries and working conditions to encourage skill workers to remain in their own countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear opinion: you explain why a country may expect trained professionals to contribute locally, then argue that they should be free to work abroad. The examples about hospital staffing and access to healthcare support the first view, while salaries, equipment and international experience support the second. Your conclusion also adds a practical suggestion for governments. However, some points are asserted rather than fully developed. For instance, you say that working abroad helps professionals improve their skills, but do not explain how this experience might benefit them or their home country. Develop the reasoning behind each example and make the relationship between your opinion and the two arguments more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from the reasons for retaining professionals to the case for freedom is easy to follow. Linking phrases such as “Therefore,” “For example,” and “As a result” help show relationships between ideas, and the paragraphing is appropriate. To make the organisation more flexible and polished, avoid relying on the same example-and-result pattern in both body paragraphs, and connect ideas more precisely. The conclusion’s opening sentence joins two complete thoughts with only a comma, which weakens the transition into your opinion. A clearer link between the discussion and your final position would also strengthen the ending.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “professional development,” “shortage of medical staff,” “financial stability,” and “international experience.” These phrases communicate the main ideas effectively, and the meaning is generally clear. However, spelling errors and some imprecise or awkward word choices reduce accuracy: examples include “recieved,” “belive,” “oportunity,” and “medicak.” “Excellent career opportunity” is also less natural in this context than a phrase such as “better career prospects.” Aim to check spelling carefully and choose collocations that sound natural. More precise vocabulary for the effects of professional migration would also help you express your arguments with greater flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a large number of doctors move abroad” and cause-and-effect sentences beginning “This is because” and “As a result.” Most sentences communicate their meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “Some people believe they should served” needs a correctly formed verb, and “This help professionals” has a subject–verb agreement error. In the conclusion, “I beleive that should have” is missing a clear subject after “that,” while the opening sentence contains a comma splice between two independent clauses. Review verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries, and proofread punctuation to improve control without losing your range of structures.
